  1. Yay for new Chip and Dale costumes! KT loved the old Bird Show so hopefully this one is just as good.
  2. You're looking at the wrong pictures then. Europa is the best park in Europe for many reasons, the first probably being the atmosphere.
  3. Europa is the best theme park in Europe. I can't really judge on going solo as that's not something we do. I would happily go to Europa on my own though! Or with a group!
  4. I see both in BGT's future. Future can be more than 1-3 years though.
  5. Really proud of her! In the last year she's really started to enjoy Tuna. Either in Poke, Sashimi, Tataki, or just seared...never fully cooked! Robb and I don't even eat that! Cruises are a great way to try new foods as it's all included and you can get something else if you don't like what you tried.
  6. ^Yup! That's it. The toppings are for the Shawarma!
  7. Yeah, they both co-existed at one point. When Knotts' closed, I also heard it was sent for parts to MoA. Really bummed that there's no where left practical to ride this ride. I'm not a big spinning ride fan, but always loved this one!
  8. Very few know the EXACT plan. However, there is track on site and it will be a Harry Potter themed roller coaster with a lower height restriction than Dragons.
  9. ^From my research the Shawarma place has actually been on the Magic exclusively for a long time now. It may have been under refurb at a few points but it keeps coming back even though everyone is always terrified it won't! It's right next to the more normal 'hot dog/hamburger' place by the pool.
  10. ^Hey I would totally sit with you guys too! And when we go with friends we sit with them, it's just the idea of total strangers that worries us!
  11. We had our own table by request. You guys all know us, we're very odd, and not totally PG-13 (even with our 11 year old), so we assume we don't play well with most others. From what I've researched, Disney is very good with seating you with similarly aged children/families or respecting if you ask for your own table.
  12. ^When we joined the group we were about two months from the cruise and they happily let us join. They let people join until about 4 weeks out as we all needed time to shop and make for those in our group. Some of the people had been in that group and had been planning for over a year as soon as the cruise was open for booking!
  13. ^Did we mention there's also a nursery where you can dump them off for a bit to have some adult or 'older kid' time!?!?!?
  14. I will also chime in on this as I have traveled with KT since she was an infant. I think it's important to travel with babies and children. Mess with their routine, show them new spaces, expose them to a whole new everything. I don't see anything bad with that! Plus you're in a place where they will bend over backwards for the babies, pick up after them, clean up their messy eating, no cleaning or laundry for you guys for the week, again, all great!
  15. ^I could see a park like Gyeongju World asking for the same restraints as their other B&M for maintenance and safety reasons. Especially when they're so far away, it probably makes it easier for parts and maintenance to at least have two VERY similar coasters.
  16. Most of the customized gifts are actually done before the cruise! People that are talented enough do it themselves, people like me buy customized stuff on Etsy! Most people bring gifts on board, but some buy stuff once on board or at port, especially if you see something awesome or get to know the people you're buying for a bit better. We had a great Facebook group with a super organized woman with many excel spreadsheets and word documents (note - it actually wasn't me for once!) so people really got great stuff.
  17. I'm not Robb, but it depends on where you are going. Most major cities will have day tours out to local amusement parks. Heck, I did one from Sydney out to Wonderland when I was 16! Not really like full guided tours with ERT or anything, but you can find day trips that include transport and admission.
  18. It's a LOT of positive G's. Even with a long launch, it is very powerful. Second only to Dodonpa if you ask me. The rest of the ride has almost no air time, but tons of speed and positive G's. If you watch some of our videos you can see me try to raise my arms and it's hard to do on some of the turns.
  19. ^Does it maybe look like a similar hill on Wildfire at Kolmarden?
  20. Let's be honest here. That cat is better than 90% of ride ops out there!
  21. Nice report! It's such a foreign concept to me to go to an amusement park and need gloves. Too funny.
  22. Great to see something different (like not Walking Dead or Purge!) and a great property! I really hope they pull out all the stops and make this special.
