Awww...BeemerBoy is crying in a corner somewhere mourning the loss of another monorail. Sad. I agree with a lot of what's been said. We're not local so we don't follow everything that closely but we've heard a lot of our British members bitch over and over again about the direction the park is going. A lot of it does look suspect, but you just have to hope they have some sort of plan or there are bigger reasons behind some of these decisions.

^I don't think that's what he means. In fact, I disagree with the whole three wooden coasters is a great idea in a park thing. Holiday World does well because of many things. They only do well with Enthusiasts because of the three wooden coasters. I can't tell you how many times I was at a hotel near that park and would hear the GP bitching that they'd rather go to SFKK cause 'they got loops and metal coasters'.

I haven't ridden anything yet this month, but living in Florida I sure could if I wanted to! Hmmm, I suppose it could end up being Space Mountain? Maybe Thunder Mountain or Everest?

I think we need to remember that SFMM doesn't cater to the true locals...the residents of Valencia! I didn't know anyone of my Valencia friends that had a pass or would go. They all went to Disney and Legoland!

^^^Yeah, those short Carnival cruises out of the West Coast are all terrible booze cruises. They probably ban two people per voyage!!!

Hey look, a park that gets it! Building a new ride for the big kids and adults and putting two smaller rides right next to it for the little kids! Why is this concept so difficult for most US parks to get!?!?

^Exactly. The need for railings is already a double precaution as the animals were in an enclosure. Now the victim's family will claim they zoo needed double railings, giant safety nets, etc. When really all they need is their patrons to follow rules and not put two year olds (or any age children) on safety railings. Horrible story, and I feel for everyone who was there, but it's just pisses me off that a parent would put their child in that danger.

Will any of the 2013 installations have the trains that can accommodate a lower height restriction in the middle cars? Was this an idea that you brought to the parks or the parks asked of you?

^Depends on trip, day, park, schedule, etc. All is discussed in the private trip boards once you sign up.

^Don't worry, nothing 'official' yet, but expect to see an early announcement in the previous trips and Club TPR board very soon and flyers out by the end of the week!

How did this not get more responses?!!? We have a ride vehicle for the penguin ride! Very cool. Except it's giving me flashbacks to all of the terrible dark rides at Ferrari World!!!!

You are correct, that mouse was the most brutal of the trip. I think it killed Hanno and that's why he looked like that in anticipation of yet another Jungle Mouse that day. I didn't put all the Vegas theming together until your TR. That sign is totally 80's Vegas, plus they had a Caesar's Palace!?!? Too funny.

It will be interesting to see what happens with this.

^I was pretty bummed going there this summer with a 42" Kristen and there not being any Big Bad Wolf...

STAR JET @ CASINO PIER!!!!!! What? Too soon? Seriously though, I would have to say Eagle's Fortress. Such an amazing awesome ride, and I'm so bummed more people didn't get to experience it.
