  1. Six year old girl? Ooof. That's really horrible. No matter if it's an accident or a pre-existing condition, that's just rough. Hope we hear more soon on what the cause was.
  2. Passes are available online again. KT went the last two nights and we went last night and were very surprised at the lack of crowds for a "sold out" night. I really hope they're limiting capacity, but I wonder if we'll see it upped by next weekend.
  3. Great topic! I have such a love/hate relationship with the Jersey Shore that I look forward to seeing all of it in this one thread.
  4. Wow, so this mini-golf looks like a Denver Non-Disappointment!?!
  5. You guys really did have the WORST weather of the summer that week! I remember feeling so bad when we dropped you off at SeaWorld and it poured like most of the rest of the day! Glad you at least got your credits in and had some fun. Great report!
  6. Ugh, that's so frustrating! The poor park doesn't need any more drama and to have some guest go into a restricted area and get hurt is just crap!
  7. Wait...so what happened with Ka this weekend? Dumb park guest, not the actual rides fault right?!?!
  8. Just to help some people out...Robb and I just got back from a quick visit to IOA. Got there at 11:30am, Velocicoaster was a WALK ON! Like, sending empty seats every train walk on! Yay for midweek September!
  9. Just adding to the plethora of people who have had tiny attached items removed to be given a larger item for a locker on Dodonpa!
  10. ^&^^ Yeah, I agree with Bill here. We just had someone ask this on the Facebook Group as well and here was my answer: Question: Hi! I’m visiting Universal Orlando next weekend for one day with a park hopper and express pass. Universal opens at 8, but IOA opens at 9, and I am debating if we should go to Universal to ride like one or two things and then walk to IOA so we can get on Velocicoaster first thing, or just stick it out to rope drop IOA to make sure we get on Velocicoaster. Is the Hogwarts Express even an option too? Any suggestions would be great. 2 main priorities are Velocicoaster and Hagrids, but I want to make the most out of the one day I am there. Answer: Ooo that’s a good question. If Hagrid’s and VelociCoaster are truly your top two priorities and you have express I would head to IOA first and be there at 8 even though they don’t open till 9. Start checking virtual queue for Hagrid’s and head there BEFORE VelociCoaster. I believe anything you want to do back at universal will be covered with Express. So missing the first hour there to prep better for IOA won’t really hurt you.
  11. Yes, they basically almost always forced non-Florida residents into the most expensive pass to encourage them to buy tickets and not an annual pass.
  12. I feel like they personally attacked me and my pass! Most of the passes seem very similar as you said, but my old Platinum basically went up $500 if I want the same no block out dates and Photopass! Now I'll have to 'downgrade' to the Sorcerer Pass and have some blockout dates and add on PhotoPass. I do like the $99 Water Park add on though!
  13. Yeah, these seatbelt only drop towers are TERRIFYING!!!
  14. It's been like 20 years since we went to this water park but I remember thinking it was fine, nothing super special other than the random water slide dark rides which I kind of wish were everywhere! Also, we're super spoiled when it comes to water parks now as when we include them on trips we always get cabanas and/or ERT for our people and now it's hard for me to go to a water park without some goodies. It's good to see they're still doing well and seem to be adding slides.
  15. ^^Bring back the Airtime Hill of Hot Death instead of the stupid loop!!!
  16. I honestly didn't even realize Batwing was still operating! I kind of assumed all the old Vekoma Flyers were pretty much done for at this point.
  17. I feel like Kentucky Kingdom is always weird during the fair, so maybe even the Cinnamon Bread was affected?!?!
  18. ^You just described the operations at half the parks in this country the last year! I'm still trying to give parks a pass this summer, but I will not continue to ignore all of the problems next year. They have to find a way to improve staffing, operations, maintenance, supply chain, EVERYTHING!
  19. Lots of Anticipated 2021 signs to change! Seriously though, this is great news and I'm happy for them! Also, putting it out there, I tweeted about both rides this weekend and then 16 hours later we get an announcement so...
  20. Yeah, I can't think of a place I wouldn't really go back to. I mean, even some of the worst parks I've been to I would give a second chance for one reason or another.
  21. The BGT ops have never lived up to the Orlando parks, but this year has been especially rough. Hopefully with some better weather and if the pandemic gets a bit more under control we'll see them improve a bit. And yes, Falcons Fury is the BEST!!!
  22. OMG! YES!!! We're paying sooooo much money for our return to broadway NYC trip this fall. And should we mention sporting events? And parking fees for those?!?! What happened to all of us supporting paying all of these workers more money too? WDW is raising their pay rates and you didn't think that wouldn't be passed on to us right?
