  1. I do that every night. You pickin up what I'm putting down? The double entendre? Eh? Eh? I'll see myself out...
  2. ^ Oh, dude, the Paris RnRC is the bee's knees. I love that thing so much. Kicks the crap out of the high school blacklight party in Orlando.
  3. ^ Griffon I never noticed to have a particularly fast line, though I've only been to the park twice since it opened. I was a huge fan of the single rider line, though. It was a walk on and I almost always got the front row.
  4. I'm pretty sure that's what was originally planned and advertised. Most of it never came to fruition, though. The mist on the launch exit was probably the only thing that survived but even that was a game of chance whether it'd be working on any given day.
  5. When Disney realized it's another way get money hand over fist.
  6. ...is that a black Gyoza bun? BRB, checking flights.
  7. Best coaster in the park! Second best ride behind Mystery River.
  8. Huh, color me impressed. My last ride was in August of 2012 and, while awesome, was like being in the Northridge quake.
  9. Glad you enjoyed it! I feel I should pass along some "insider" info about RMC's coasters, though. Apparently the best seats are in the middle of the train. The front and back give their own highs and lows, but for overall "holy crap," sit in the middle.
  10. Good lord, people are giant pansies now. Strap those idiots onto the Coney Island Cyclone for a while and see if they still think Wildcat and Boulder Dash are "unacceptably" rough.
  11. ^ I'd blame that more on the horrible, horrible people of SoCal vandalizing the trains than the material itself.
  12. Looks like fun! It's so nice to see an original layout for a mouse coaster rather than the typical switchbacks over switchbacks.
  13. It's OK. My better half lost her phone on The Roller Coaster at Lagoon because she thought it'd be safe in her back pocket. On an old wooden rollercoaster..that has violent pops of airtime.
  14. That's the TIV, Sean Casey's tornado hunting vehicle. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tornado_Intercept_Vehicle#TIV_2 I'm not sure if it's still on Netflix, but look up the show Storm Chasers. It's the only reality show I actually enjoyed.
  15. This was back in 2003. I've not been back to Ohio since, so they've probably changed their policies. All I know is my dad, uncle, and I stood at the entrance chatting with the ride op waiting for him to close the line with the trash can so we'd be the last ones on. Pops and I sat in front, uncle in the second row. Whether it shut down early or not, the fireworks began as our train, the last train of the night with only three people on it, crested the lift.
  16. I haven't been on the Gringott's ride yet, but I've gotta say I'm a little disappointed they didn't stick with the design from the movies. They could have made the coolest Ultra-Twister ever!
  17. Full disclosure - I don't know everything about PLC cards. I only know the ones I work with in theatrical automation. Mine are programmed and tweaked manually. Sure, we can tell the OS that "if X then Y" but that's controlled entirely by the MC. The PLC is just a slave to the MC. In layman's terms, the PLC doesn't make decisions, it just does what the MC (Master Controller) tells it to do. I'm probably arguing semantics here, too.
