  1. Yeah there's no way it's going to be a 70-foot fall. The Charles M Schulz theatre is maybe 30 feet from stage to ceiling (where the auditions were) and the Wagon Camp's old tower was probably 25 feet from the roof. Unless they're building a new tower higher than Silver Bullet's barrel roll I'm pretty sure it's a typo.
  2. Magic Kingdom - Go straight to the Tiki Room. This one is completely different than California's and way, way better with a ton of impressive effects. Hollywood Studios - People will tell you Toy Story, Tower Of Terror, or Rock N Rollercoaster are the things to do first. Don't listen to them, they're liars. The real must-do attraction here is Disney Junior Live On Stage. The first show is usually before 10am, so get in the park and jump in line immediately. You want a good seat for this. Epcot - Run to Ellen's Energy Adventure. The technology at work in this attraction is simply astounding. You can always get a fastpass for Test Track and Mission Space. This is the bee's knees, here, though. Extremely clever humor throughout, as well. The finale will make your jaw drop. Animal Kingdom - Song Of The Rainforest. Now this one is a little hard to find. You're gonna have to get on the train to Conservation Station. Once there just keep an eye out for the signage pointing you in the right direction, or just ask a CM. They'll tell you where to go. This is a fully immersive 360-degree 3D audio attraction that is simply unmatched anywhere else in the world.
  3. ^ Do it. There's chocolate. The coasters are just a bonus.
  4. I want to build my own amusement park just so I can have RMC design and build something. Anyone looking for a new business venture?
  5. Hey, they've got a point. I mean when I was at SDC on Thursday I totally saw a guy walking through the woods which means their new 500-foot B&M inverted dive machine will be ready to open on March 31st, 2017. He had a slide rule and everything.
  6. Wait, seriously? Wow, they under-utilize the capability of that base with Minions. I get that it's a family ride and all but c'mon, grow some balls.
  7. I never thought I'd see someone take so many pictures of a Zierer Tivoli coaster.
  8. ^ So was Hannah Barbera and that's in it's third new movie. I much prefer the BTTF simulator system to the snoozefest Minions uses.
  9. Yep, I'm pretty sure Hollywood Tour just got dethroned as the best ride in the park.
  10. I'm not sure exactly what it is but the description makes it sound like a fun house crossed with Confusion Hill. I'm already a fan.
  11. You and I had a very different prom night.
  12. Guess I need to weigh in on this... I loved BTTF, favorite simulator of all time. Everyone who said it was rough just doesn't know a proper good rogering. It'll always live on with my BTTF Trilogy Blu-Ray.
  13. Did I miss the part where blk_mamba became a highly trained engineer with in-depth behind the scenes knowledge of Dollywood and RMC?
  14. ^^ That reminds me. Did anyone sue Magic Mountain when an entire tree smacked Ninja in the face?
  15. ^ It definitely looked like a fun thing to do. I'm curious, though, since we'll already have a shortened day in the park (won't be getting there til 11am or so) would that be a smart thing to do or save it for a future visit? Isn't it about an hour long to do the tour? If they have a group at 6pm when the rest of the park closes I'd be all for it.
  16. Alrighty, slight change of plans for my visit later this week. Initially we were going to be staying in Branson Thursday night, SDC on Friday. Now we'll be doing SDC all day Thursday, sleeping in Branson, then heading back up to Kansas City Friday morning to meet up with family. Here's hoping that helps keep the crowds away, too, haha. Anyone have any pointers for a first timer? Aside from the major attractions and cinnamon bread are there any things that we should make a point to check out? Thanks!
  17. I'm really hoping it's as incredible as Mystery River at Movie Park Germany. That was one seriously fun and extravagantly themed rapids ride!
  18. ^ I figured as much. Oh, well! Thanks!
  19. Sooooo maybe I missed it, but has there been any mention of a projected opening date? I'm in NJ May 5th thru 7th and doing a quick side-trip would be fun. I doubt it'll be ready in six weeks, though. Here's hopin!
  20. I'm not a parent, but I get the strange feeling that your crazy driving schedule will make them all quite surly. I wish you luck. Might I suggest loading up on NyQuil and using it to knock them out whenever you start driving?
