  1. Centrifuge was wonderful. I remember it's original version as Poltergeist in a tent before they moved it into a solid structure. Same ride, they just updated the lighting and audio. I wonder if this new version is gonna be a Sizzler like the original. Way more intense than a regular Scrambler.
  2. ^ Kinda sad because those rides are hard to find. That being said, those rides are uncomfortable as hell so it's a wash.
  3. ^ Orlando's always seem to be bigger, too. At least the soundstage haunts. Since Orlando's soundstages aren't in such heavy use they have more freedom. Hollywood generally has only one or two soundstage haunts that share one soundstage. The rest are in existing structure or tents.
  4. YES! It was on an episode of Hoarders I though Hoarders was supposed to highlight disgusting houses full of trash and poop, not awesome houses full of cool stuff. Guess they wanted to branch out, haha.
  5. Here's a video on Reddit... https://www.reddit.com/r/rollercoasters/comments/9eordo/tatsu_has_new_lightup_wheels_and_they_look_amazing/ You're a brave man going on that subreddit. I use reddit a ton but the coaster and theme park subs are awful.
  6. Well, it's not enough to get me to buy a season pass but it'll definitely get me to attend West Coast Bash 2019. Also I always love announcement time because of the endless entertainment of TPR newbies getting shredded by Robb.
  7. A user on Reddit apparently restored old footage from their grandparents' trip to Disneyland in 1956. There's no audio but it's very well done. Also, Walt himself shows up! [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  8. I don't know about you, but I sure ended up praying to the porcelain god for a while.
  9. ^ Those are S&S? I figured they were some crap Chinese company that did knockoffs.
  10. Huh? There's literally only been two ever built, one of which was torn down a few years later, and the other is in Japan.
  11. You're aware of what park you're talking about, right?
  12. Since when does Magic Mountain care about a ride’s hourly capacity? Hey, now, wait a minute, you're telling me 6+ minute dispatch times on single train operation isn't great capacity?!
  13. Looks like Freakling Bros. is going to be raking in the dough even more this year. Hopefully this will push some much needed business to Bonnie Screams, as well. That's a great haunt in a seriously awesome location that needs more traffic.
  14. Throwing my hat in the ring: World's tallest, fastest, family-style coaster under 50 feet and slower than 45mph.
  15. Found the person who's never seen literally any other Six Flags announcement.
  16. Look, they can try to spin it any way they want, but let's be real here. It was the free beer. Nothing else. What I'm trying to say is that if any amusement park in the world wants more people they should give away free beer. Holiday World, I'm lookin at you. You started the trend with soda, now let's have some real fun!
  17. If you're using GMail go hunting through spam. That happened to me. Google tends to notice when you blindly delete emails to your inboxes over time and flags those addresses as junk since you never open them. Let's be honest, unless it's one of these surveys I really don't give a flying frack about anything Six Flags wants to shove down my throat via email so I never opened them.
  18. Did Kennywood get their new maintenance schedule from Action Park?
  19. Ever ride Goliath at Magic Mountain? Titan at SFOT? Yeah...
  20. Yep, you can see the block brake on Divertical at 2:19 on this video: I'm not sure just how often Mirabilandia uses the block brake, either. It sure as hell wasn't on when Robb filmed that video. You see me saying "alright, no brakes!" on the rider-cam because I'd ridden like 4 times prior and never once slowed down.
