  1. ^^ Wood. It means wood. Tweet he's talking about - https://twitter.com/TonyClarkCP/status/481147151011958785/photo/1
  2. ^^ Edited the post to quote your original for reference. There were 3 replies while I got those images together.
  3. Longer video of the crash has made it's way to YouTube - [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  4. Member for less than a day. Seems legit.
  5. See here Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland. BFF (big fat f%#@) supports. The support is just about the same size as the track spine. Now look at the support in the first photo of the Flickr album. Same size. Leviathan. Also Canada's Wonderland. Same story. http://themeparkreview.com/parks/pimages/Six_Flags_Great_Adventure/TPRs_Road_to_Cedar_Point_Tour_2011/great_adventure_065.jpg Look at those beefy bastards. Nitro at Great Adventure. The only reason that one support seems to be oversize is because it's right next to smaller supports. In comparison it looks huge. In reality it's no different than normal. Here's the smaller size supports - Shall I continue?
  6. ^ Whoah, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Nobody wants a French anything. Not even the French.
  7. You're reading wayyyyyyyyyyyy to much into this. That support is no different than anything else. The "mystery track" is obviously lift track (hence the odd ties, lowered to allow the chain track) and brake/trim track (hence the lowered spine to allow space). But if you're having fun trying to figure out the mystery, don't let me stop you. I just don't want you to get your hopes up.
  8. Sooooo, by definition, you're whining. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/whine
  9. To end the debate between Rougarou and Loup Garou - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rougarou Both are accepted. Anyways, I'm on board with the dark ride idea. I'm also gonna throw out Knott's as we know there's construction in the old Kingdom Of The Dinosaurs building. Boom.
  10. Oh, please. B&M doesn't come up with new ideas. They wait until another manufacturer comes up with something groundbreaking and then they copy it a year or two later.
  11. ^ Implying people in Kansas know what skis look like.
  12. Seems to be a lot of uneducated blaming going on in this thread. Calm down. Crap happens. You'll get to ride it eventually.
  13. ^ Thanks for that, though it is kinda disappointing to see Xcelerator isn't on the list. Last time we went (last September) the park was completely empty and we rode Xcelerator probably 5 times in a row, in the front, without getting off of the train. It was a pretty awesome day, haha. Here's hoping the place isn't too crowded. Or we could just bum around LA for the day. I haven't been to a filming of @midnight yet, haha.
  14. Bet you never thought you'd see that sentence in your life. Or ever again.
  15. ^ Tell them they can waste their day in line for two, maybe three attractions. Then bail and ride everything yourself.
  16. Been a while since I popped into this thread. Here's hoping someone can offer some advice - The girlfriend and I are thinking of a trip to Knott's in two or three weeks. I check the website about Fast Lane but unfortunately the redirect is wrong (just goes to the homepage) and it won't show my the list of attractions offered or any restrictions on it. We're not positive on even buying Fast Lane when we go, I just wanted an idea of price and what's available beforehand in case the place is a zoo when we get there. All I could find out on the site was that it starts at $35 per person. I'm guessing they do the same tier-style system that Six Flags does. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks!
  17. ^ Oh how I wish it was that easy. But knowing OSHA they'll make them reprofile the cars to be better aerodynamically while also disallowing the jump and instead have the cars exit the building via a 20 degree ramp at 10mph while a single bottle rocket launches from the roof.
  18. ^ You made me look up what slide Zero-G is, and, well, I think The Daily News needs to get their research in order - http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/n-s-action-park-debut-water-slide-1-000-foot-drop-article-1.1839093 Divide by 10, maybe?
  19. ^ No, it means it wasn't cleared for some reason or another. Probably a system error thrown at the wrong time (like when you go get your car inspected and the check engine light pops on(thanks, Nissan)). They'll re-check later today or tomorrow and every other chance until it clears.
  20. ^ OSHA. OSHA is why it will take a bit to reopen the show. They have to come in and evaluate what happened and yadda yadda boring government crap.
  21. Just accept your fate, man. Everything will be full. Everything. Invest in a VIP tour.
