It's even better when you realize he fell and knocked himself out spread eagle on his back. I don't understand streaking or rushing the ice in hockey. It can only end badly, you have no where to go. It's not like streaking in football where at least you can try and get away. I haven't seen the Downey hit yet either. From the sounds of it he should be in for a pretty big suspension. Though he'll be serving the suspension in the AHL.

Should we just smile and nod then, letting him continue as he's going? Better for us to give him crap, then the swift kick in the ass that the real world is going to give him.

Nothing beats this classic though for "faces in the crowd" Some of these people are enjoying it too much.

TPR 2008 Trips! Download the flyers here!

Age shouldn't be a factor. You'll be be able to fit in wether you're 19 or 50. I'm sure there will be a number of people your age, or in their 20s on the trip. -
I haven't been following with the Leafs pre-season, so if this has anything to do with them, I'm all ears. Neither has anything to do with Toronto.

^ How ironic that the salary cap is now hurting the teams that the cap was supposed to help.

Most of us would kill for 20 minutes of nothing to do. If you can't sit still for 20 minutes maybe you need some ritalin or prozac?

So you know that being a CSI is nothing like it is on the TV show? And designing roller coasters a very hard field to get into. Very few jobs available. And not being able to handle an entry level theme park job for more then a week isn't going to get your foot in the door.

Am I being a jerk, or am I just thinking logically? Maybe I came off a bit too harsh. But really, think about it. You don't just rush construction. It takes time to fabricate track, supports, and put it all together. If they could have the ride open tomorow they would. But better to take the time it requires to build it correctly. -

Maybe you're just thinking like someone who thinks they know what they're talking about, but in fact are just blowing smoke out their ass. Leave the building of roller coasters to the professionals. They know what they're doing. -

Because spring/early summer is the start of the seasonal parks season. So obviously a ride is going to be opened then. You don't have to be an engineer to figure that one out. -
I suspect the eastern conference is going to be a dog fight yet again. Again it'll probably come down to the last week of the season to determine who makes it, and who doesn't.

Yeah, we have better things to do. Like pleasure ourself while watching Don Cherry's Rock em Sock em hockey DVDs. -
Probably not till the spring I'd guess. Though you could use the 2007 rates as an estimate. The rates don't change much from year to year.

Probably wasn't a GOOD NHLer if he's playing in Japan now.

It's going to be tough for the Canes though. They didn't really improve much in the offseason, and a handful of other teams in the conference did. Personally I don't think the Canes will make the playoffs this year. Though anything can happen. Though you do play in that crappy division which pads your point total.

^ so have you bought Guitar Hero2 yet?

It's not. Pre-season means very little. Or at least the first few games don't. It's not until the last couple pre-season games that you start seeing teams ice a team close to what will start the season. The first few games of the pre-season teams put out mostly their rookies and prospects to get an idea of how they're developing. That, and any bubble players who are trying to make the team. So it's hard to get a good judge of how the team looks, when both teams are mostly players that will spend the year in the minors.

The package might be more expenisve for one person, as you're also paying for the starlight tickets which you won't use. If you want to stay at Breakers exprss it would probably be cheaper to just get the room, and add on two one day tickets. (about $32 at the hotel counter). Though you might want to look into the platnum season pass. The cost of the pass might be less then admission and parking at Cedar Point and Kings Island. Though you'd have to add up the costs to see if it'd be cheaper or not.

^ Halo3 isn't going to be anything revolutionary, and sure there might be other games on the horizon that are going to be better. But what Halo3 should provide is the conclusion to a storyline that many of us have been hooked on for 6 years. That's something that these new games coming out can't provide. I'm currently playing through Halo and Halo2 again, and plan to have them finished in time for Halo3. It's been pretty nostalgic playing through Halo all over again. Brings back alot of memories.

If you skip work to play Halo3 you deserve to be fired. As much as I'm looking forward to it, I'll just pick it up at lunch time, and then wait till I get home from work to play.

For gaming I'd suggest going with a desktop. But you don't need a $10,000 computer to play games. Those "gaming" PCs are rip offs. You could probably by the parts yourself and put it together yourself.
