  1. Superman Ultimate Flight. Though that was quite possibly the stupidest quiz I've ever taken. Only 5 questions, and of those 5 nearly all of them didn't have nearly enough choices. Or just plain didn't make any sense.
  2. It really depends on why/how it rolls back. Though in Stealth's case it might be more mechanical related. In the case of TTD in can take longer to reset if the first train in the pair rolls back. If this happens they have to move the 2nd train out of the staging area so that the rollback train can be moved back to staging. If the 2nd train in the pair rolls back they can pull the train back without pushing all the other trains back. Also if the rollback is caused by high winds then typically this means a longer wait to relaunch. Somewhere around 15-25 mph winds require management override. Over 30ish mph winds cause the system to shutdown. Winds have to go back down and stay down for 20 minutes before the ride can be restarted. That's roughly how some of the issues with TTD work. Though these are issues more related to the giant rockets.
  3. I don't really have many good ones. The one time I was at SFA was when I was new to taking pictures. I just have one thats interesting. This was taken right after it re-opened following the SFNE accident. Missing seat
  4. That would be the piledriver that Nicole mentioned. I don't know exactly what happened to it, but I heard it opened without permits. It hasn't opened back up after the goverment smack down. Bad pun I know.
  5. That sounds like pretty normal movement for break downs. I know on Dragster the trains have to be moved all over the place to reset after a breakdown. Typically means pushing all the trains back. Once the trains are back they can reset everything and get the ride running again. Hopefully the kinks will get worked out soon.
  6. I always thought Timbers had a really weird support structure. The supports on the lift hill are much wider then is normally used. Such a waste of wood. Timbers is the perfect example of how wooden coasters don't follow "bigger is better".
  7. ^ That would be a valid point IF Cedar Fair had put effort into Cedar Point other then thrill rides. Cedar Point might not have gotten a coaster in the past few years, but they have gotten thrill rides(Maxair,Skyhawk). They have done little to nothing in regards of ther improvements. It's still the same park it was when TTD was built. It's still got problems with how the park is run, and they still haven't changed their focus of thrill rides first. In fact flattening White Water Landing for the 2007 coaster is a perfect example of how their focus is still the same.
  8. Me and a friend were discussing this once and I imagine a straight out and back is cheaper due to using ALL of the board of wood for the track. (But still thats alot more wood) JEFF That might be true. But the point is that Timbers is much taller then Ozark Wildcat. So really Timbers should cost alot more.
  9. ^ La Ronde is Six Flags owned. It's been rumoured for years that the park will get ranamed to Six Flags La rone, etc at some point. So some people think the colours are in case they wanted to change the name to Superman at some point.
  10. ^^ PCW = Paramount Canadas Wonderland = Vekoma SLC. PC = Paramount Carowinds. The people who refer to Carowinds by PCW don't know what an acronym is. The PCW/PC thing is one of my pet peeves.
  11. Are those the only two you've ridden? I can thing of quite a few inverts that are better then Topgun. Techically speaking Topgun isn't an Invert it's an SLC.
  12. R&E's Spain PTR had a Batman that was themed to the insane asylum.
  13. ^ It would depened on the legal system I would assume. For instance in Canada first degree murder has a max 25 year sentence. Full life sentances are only given to someone labeled a dangerous offender. And that title is only given to the big serial murderers, rapists, etc.
  14. I've gone to parks alone a few times. Sometimes I take that time to just wander around taking pictures and video. That way I don't have other people with me getting bored.
  15. I love pool parties. I go over to my parents all the time with my freinds and hijack their pool.
  16. You can also try the video forum. TPR Video Forum
  17. Theme Park Review. Maybe you've heard of it?
  18. I'm the exact same way. I hate the sound of my voice. I tend to cut any clips from my videos that have me talking. I think everyone dislikes their own voice on tape, while everyone else finds it normal. I liked the new format Robb. With just normal links it was kind of easy to miss the video link. The picture link makes it obvious that there's a video to see.
  19. I'm normal, aka right handed.
  20. I'd typically think of this definition: That would definetly take out S:ROS(SFNE), MF, and Goliath. The other two S:ROS would be a grey area.
  21. The server kind of died awhile back, causing the double posts.
  22. What, open a ride half way through the day? I'd prefer seeing rides open when I get to the park.
  23. Maybe I'm being nit picky but I wouldn't consider any of those coasters out and back. Out and back tends to refer to going straight out turning around and coming straight back. Those coasters all have twisting portions of some kind, and don't really follow an out and back type path.
  24. Was the Tornado POV supposed to end right after the lift hill??
  25. They already have that and more in TTD.
