It shouldn't take 3 hours to transfer one tape. Assuming you're using firewire then transfering from tape should be pretty much realtime. Adobe will let you grab the whole tape in one shot, though I haven't done this yet with Adobe.

That can make all the difference in the world. I don't know where I'd be now without my co-op jobs. In fact my co-op job, and my current full time job were practically handed to me by co-op. As well as a small stint with a company that made dating websites for swingers, but I don't really consider that a plus.

^ He's in the UK so he probably doesn't have access to the Best Buy website,etc. Is that the model number of the original battery? What's the battery you're considering getting? An OEM battery might work, but it's going to have to be a pretty specific one as camcorders very in connectin types. My hunch would be that a UK battery might not fit a US camera.

Well it did happen. But I'm pretty sure they've removed the entire system now. Now they have some VIP program that you can buy which gives you front of the line access for all the rides for your group. Not sure on the exact specifics, but it's really expensive and not really an option unless you're really well off.

Well I can say for sure that it ran 6 cars up until July 9th, 2005. Unforunatly I don't have any pictures or video from later in the year. To be honest I really didn't even realize that they removed a car since reading this thread. And I really didn't notice a difference in the ride between May,July, and September. I'm still trying to figure out how I missed noticing this when I was there. ^ Well if a bunch of random forum kids said it happened then it must be true. No offense but I would take that rumour with a grain of salt.

This is the first I've heard that rumour regarding Vortex. Are you sure you're not thinking of the PKI accident on Top Gun?
