  1. Love the turret on that building! I'm excited to see more of the indoor layout, too. Also looking forward to more tour updates...the above post has gotten me psyched!
  2. ^I sure wouldn't mind seeing OzCat rebuilt from scratch. It looks like a beautiful design. Plus, with GCI's predictability, I can't see a clone riding too differently from the original.
  3. In general, I think bright red and maroon clash. I would never put them together in, say, an outfit. Despite that, I do think having two kinds of red "works" on V2. It looks more visually striking and exciting than the previous scheme.
  4. ^Wow, so strange to see Vertical Velocity looking all "normal" and yellow. I don't think I've seen many, if any, pictures of it in that state. Thanks for posting!
  5. I may have tracked down the new kiddie coaster, and it seems like it might be adult-friendly! Based on new information I dug up, it could be Endicott Emerald Mine from the defunct Wild Zone Adventures in Ontario, Canada. The article I found also states that Cliffhanger may set the record for the highest-elevation coaster. That's interesting, as I believe this record has been debated before and I'm not sure if anyone had a conclusive answer as to who held it.
  6. I think I mostly took the screen for granted and didn't really think about it, but I'm all for its removal! I will say that what they played on the screen seemed pretty silly at a glance, though...
  7. ^^I don't have the knowledge to have any idea whether that's true or not, but it does make sense to me. Thanks for sharing that possibility. I really don't get the worry about SFDK being "behind," as it doesn't seem close enough to the planned opening date for there to be solid indication of that, despite the lack of progress.
  8. I'm not sure I realized that indoor portion was going to be so substantial. I nearly always enjoy coasters that are all or partly indoors, so I'm really looking forward to this!
  9. ^That was in the back of my mind, too...best not to think about it though.
  10. ^Oh no! Sad to hear that. The Monkees are such a fun band!
  11. I hope people are right about this being unexpectedly good. I still kinda think it could go either way, myself, but I've been staying optimistic, and the layout really is starting to look even more appealing as of late.
  12. This coaster is looking better and better all the time! I just can't get over it. The trains look good, too. That reminds me: am I the only person who really likes the signage at Hersheypark? It seems more clear, informative and straightforward than at many other parks.
  13. Okay, now that's starting to look seriously creepy. Of course, in this case that's really a good thing.
  14. ^Lookin' good indeed! I can't help but admire the layout of this ride.
  15. Same here! I will concede that the new colors don't look as flashy or exciting, but at least they're much prettier.
  16. Only until it gets relocated to La Ronde. La Ronde would do something like that.
  17. Ha, this page reminds me of how I always forget what colors the various GIBs are. I keep thinking Aftershock is yellow.
  18. At least they're not orange! Still, it's too bad they're switching from what looks like a pretty and well-matched color.
  19. My sentiments exactly. I kinda want to say that seeing the Glow Train off-ride is almost as good as actually riding!
  20. ^^Strike those last two lines and you're good. There are some other Huss Troikas about (I've ridden the one at Palace Playland and seen one at SFOT). Grand National and Montaña Rusa are the other surviving Möbius wooden coasters.
  21. Wow, Pinterest is really blowing up lately. Not long ago, I knew of, like, two people who had an account. Now I read or hear about it every few days! I have one or two annoyances with the site, but with its popularity it seems like a great way to connect with fans. I wonder what other parks might pop up there.
  22. Mystery solved! Thanks! Too bad it's gone now; looks like it was fun. Here's hoping for a new one sometime soon. Is there theming and/or signage year-round? That's probably what misled me. I think I remember some haunted theming, a queue, and even a "Boo Hill" sign.
  23. That reminds me, I could've sworn I saw a closed dark ride (I'd assumed it was a generic haunted shooting one) near Blue Streak. I believe it was a low, gray building. Am I insane? And if I'm not, what is it in reality?
  24. ^Wow, I clearly have too little faith in humanity sometimes. Awesome find! Good thing I don't spend too much money at the parlors, or they'd be going out of business shortly. (Joking...)
  25. Is there an app for Fascination? Even if there is (which I highly doubt), Real Art would surely come up with an even more epic version.
