  1. Not to be rude but you went to one of the best SF parks on a Saturday in the middle of July and you are complaining because of the long lines? I guess when your under 18 you don't often get to pick the days that you go do stuff like that but it sounds like you were in a bad mood before the day even started.
  2. And let me add this...being that I live in the middle of the Midwest Trip route- if anyone attending needs any "Rainbow-related" info don't hesitate to ask me. Despite the fact that I don't drink I do know several of the bars around Cleveland and Sandusky in addition to two very gay friendly coffee houses in Cleveland.
  3. Its not so much that I have a problem being around alcohol (though I have some friends that are that way)- I mean I do hang out in bars on occasion for special events and such- its just that very quickly I run into a scenerio where I can no longer relate to the people I am with if they are drinking and then it just becomes a very boring night.
  4. Okay, here's my list: ... ... ... ... ... This summer has sucked- someone give me a job!
  5. I can't even comment on MF- I've only been to CP twice since it opened and it was closed both times. ^^That quote was taken out of a trip report update above- I didn't know how to pull the quote without pulling all of the pictures too.
  6. Hmmm, you know its all of the bar pictures that makes me wonder if I'd ever want to do one of these trips. Having been sober 5 years now (May 25) I wouldn't want to be alone in my room every night with everyone out "partying-" oh wait I do that now which is why I am currently typing on this website...
  7. "Welcome to Ohio! Birthplace of aviation and home of the worst fanboys in the world." Even with the fact that I am currently living in Ohio I definately agree with you there! NOTE: I am living here, I am not from here, nor do I really feel at "home" here...wait that must be it...because I don't love CP with all my heart I will never truly be a true Ohioan! So I guess I'll just be an outsider throughout the rest of my days here who would rather drive to Kennywood or Indiana Beach than visit CP anytime after July 1st.
  8. Oh man I didn't mean to start a translating war, but if you saw my right or left arm, or my back, or the left upper part of my chest you would know why I wanted to know the name of the "pig" coaster :@) By the way, where is Elissa's hand?
  9. Wow I got that same septar for my birthday but mine's pink...I need some butcher friends!
  10. I like KidTum's little "thumbs up/peace sign!" What does that coaster translate as- its Pig right? PS: I now have twice as many posts as I have credits! Ready...Clear
  11. Hey, be careful...its illegal to insult Kodak within a three-hour drive of Rochester...great trip report- your hitting all of the parks near me that I can't afford to go to!
  12. Opps my PC is acting up again- sometimes when I click the right button it double clicks so I had two idenitcal posts so I'm just typing this in "edit" so I don't get yelled at for it...
  13. Yeah I was right, I guessed his next park. The last drop on the Jack Rabbit at Seabreeze is the reason that it ranks so high on my coaster ranking. If you sit in the right area of the train you get airtime coming into the station breaks- very rare in my experience- plus its in a tunnel!
  14. That one pic of the water looked like it had submerged track- what was that?
  15. From my memory the Polynesian Cultural Center is like a theme park without rides- different areas themed to different islands of the South Pacific.
  16. Well hey if your out that far already you gotta hit Seabreeze up in Rochester- home to my #3 Woodie! BTW- The Great Canadian Midway on Clifton Hill would have actually been worth a quick detour- they have a neat shooting dark ride called Ghost Blasters and their simulator plays Fun House Express. Where was that Big Wheel? That wasn't there the last time I was up there (I grew up nearby). There was a giant wheel at Maple Leaf Village but when the park closed it was torn down- nice to see they got one back!
  17. Hmmmm... I don't know why but I am so TOTALLY turned on by this picture!
  18. I have found a picutre of the Magic Palace but it is not a very good one. I also found an old picture of the Canadiana. When I was in high school I volunteered in an effort to restore the boat but funding ran out. Obviously you can't tell but the spires were vibrant colors- or being that it was in Canada I guess it would be colours
  19. Hmmmm...One year, nine months, and five days- is this the longest thread of a ride not yet opened?
  20. ^I'm sorry I have to say the QEW between the Queen-Louie Bridge and Toronto is the worst, especially between Hamilton and Toronto- its too narrow and they built up right next to it so they can't widen it. When I lived in Tonawanda NY I dated a guy in Toronto and I drove up there every weekend for over a year.
  21. Okay so I still haven't figured out how to use Corel Paint Photo Pro or whatever I downloaded the other day so here is my MS Paint entry with my favorite joke... Say it out loud (really loud) in public!
  22. Its best to visit Ontario Place during CNE- admission is free and then you can buy an all-day ride pass for the Ontario Place rides and then you have the coasters and stuff at CNE. You guys should check out Centre Island Park while your there too!
  23. Pictures?! Come on not only have I not gotten to go to a park yet this year I haven't had a M2M encounter in far too long (I hate being poor)!
  24. Oh I forgot about Skyhawk- its kinda big so I wasn't thinking out it as being a "flat ride." I can tell you one of the most unique ones I was on- its at La Ronde and on the outside it looks like a Gravatron but it tilts and you sit down inside of it and the seats slide up and down the walls as you spin.
  25. You know its interesting by 1971 DL was filled with E-Ticket Rides, yet you look at the old WDW images and not only is Tomorrowland mostly empty with only a ride, a movie, and a washing machine (MTM), but Frontierland had not a single ride and just the 'Bears Show. Oddly Adventureland is pretty much the same today as it was then- Jungle Cruise, Tiki, Tree. So in 1971 you basically had Liberty Square, Fantasyland, & Adventureland as they are today (minus subs) and little else and yet the park looks packed!
