  1. I hope you aren't planning on riding roller coasters ever again, because with a layout like that you'd be spending every waking moment building and maintaining it! That layout is awesome though. Did a club make that or an individual?
  2. ^ Try having that much G scale in an apartment! My trains have become display models until I can get a big enough place to run them someday. I haven't bought trains in a few years, but apparently LGB went bankrupt and was purchased by Marklin. They recently resumed distribution, and I'm happy you can get LGB still, but it seems like the prices have almost doubled. $600 for 1 RHB passenger car is pretty crazy IMO. Kinda makes me wish I had gone with a smaller scale (but G-scale is impressive).
  3. I think TPR should have an official "What was REALLY happening in the Tunnel of Love?" Photoshop contest. Although there's no need for that contest because I called SFMM and confirmed it - this is the REAL photo: ILoveBunnies and I were too busy riding Green Lantern to worry about what fatdaddy was doing with Gertrude in the Tunnel of Love.
  4. There seems to be some debate over which photo is the REAL photo, so I went back to the memory card and got it directly off that. Here it is, the 100% real, unedited photo: That ride with Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, and Brittney was pretty awesome! Good thing Caesar and his boyfriend weren't allowed to tag along!
  5. As always, every update was awesome. As always, thanks for posting! I like all the videos too... they really add to the updates, and it's impressive how quickly you're able to get them up. (Cue the 'Robb getting it up' jokes).
  6. Hilarious TR, Caesar Month! I LOLed when I read the part about Gertrude stapling her manly arms on. This is already one of my favorite TRs and it isn't even finished yet. I'm looking forward to the rest! Oh, and great caption on the pic with the Rays, Dan, and Jeff Johnson. It really does look like everyone is doing just what you said.
  7. I see Gertrude and an epic manly pose... way to go! Great trip report. And sorry, but this photo was just asking to be photoshopped.
  8. No joke - I have those exact same footers in my kitchen!
  9. Am I the only person concerned that Prince Desmond may have accidentally ordered a big diaper?
  10. Here, these instructions may be helpful for assembling it...
  11. I totally forgot about that. Did our picture make it into the paper?
  12. I managed to get a snapshot of the package in transit! It does indeed appear to be a witch! I also find it funny that I named this image desmondsPackage.jpg.
  13. Of the car rides I've ridden, one of my favorites was at Gilroy Gardens. For their holiday event they had lights all around the track themed to the 12 days of Christmas. I thought it was really pretty and unique. They also have 2 different tracks that go in opposite directions - one with cars from the 1920s and one with cars from the 1950s.
  14. Ghetto fair TRs are always fun. Thanks for posting!
  15. ^^ Ok, that's epic. It absolutely counts! I've been lagging a bit on updating this thread, but a front page update will be coming soon!
  16. ^ I think it's kind of fitting that they're in the same thread.
  17. Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone! I was saving it for the Manly Pose Hall of Fame because a Big Mike manly pose is DEFINITELY hall of fame material! http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=57240 Your manly pose will be in the next update of that page!
  18. And now on to the Knott's day... In the wee hours of the morning the ground below Knott's Berry Farm started rumbling! Brittney and I showed up early to get our spots on the two awesome tours: Xcelerator and Timber Mountain Log Ride. The Xcelerator tour was first up. We headed over there to see things that you can't normally see! Another view you can't normally get. Pac-Man ghosts took over the track. High heels aren't allowed in Xcelerator's hydraulic room... ... so Gertrude had to wait outside. Brittney and I checked out the hydraulic room, which was pretty neat. Meanwhile, Gertrude decided to take a spin on Xcelerator. Unfortunately, the Pac-Man ghosts started chasing her! She ran and ran but they kept following her! Here she is being chased through the Calico Mine Train ride. She tried to escape in the Western Trails Museum to no avail! A cherry! Gertrude missed it! Gertrude hopped in the flume of the Timber Mountain Log Ride and ran as fast as she could! Maybe Gertrude will get a high score. Go Gertrude, go! The ghosts started chasing after TPR members too! It was terrible! The only hope was for Gertrude to get that Power Pellet. Thankfully, she got it just in time! Gertrude ate the ghosts and saved the day! Thanks to Gertrude, and thanks to Knott's for an awesome 2nd day of West Coast Bash!!! I didn't get too many pictures because of the rain, but everything from the tours to the ERT was amazing! It was a great day, and I can't wait until next year's West Coast Bash!
