The 100% Official Manly Pose Hall of Fame

Haha, nah. That's just how I made the banner for Six Flags Enthuseast. I'm vegan so I couldn't 100% get behind the meaty pose. -
The 100% Official Manly Pose Hall of Fame
ILoveRides replied to ILoveRides's topic in Random, Random, Random
A funny coincidence... awhile ago "Six Flags Enthuseast" PMed me and asked if I could make a "100% meaty pose" banner for him to use in pictures where he's eating burgers. I made it and sent it to him, but I'm not sure if he ever used it or not. Fast forward to your picture, and it fits perfect. So congratulations, you are not just manly but also meaty. Welcome to the hall of fame. -
Welcome to the Manly Pose Hall of Fame! Below are all the TPR members who have struck 100% official manly poses! (Note: there are a few more I haven't posted yet that I will be adding soon) Calling all Manly Pose Enthusiasts... Do you want to join the Manly Pose Hall of Fame? Here's how: 1. Have someone take a picture of you doing the manly pose. TIP: Take your manly pose picture at an amusement park, in front of rides, or during on-ride photos for extra manliness. Also, the funnier the better! 2. Authenticate your manly pose photo. A manly pose photo isn't a "100% Official Manly Pose" photo until it has been "authenticated" (meaning that ghetto manly pose logo has been added to it). To get your photo authenticated you can either post it in this thread or PM it to me and I will add the logo. Or if I spot a manly pose posted somewhere on the site (such as in a photo TR), I may just go ahead and authenticate it and add it to the hall of fame without you asking. 3. That's it. Go lift some weights or something and enjoy your manly fame. After authenticating your photo, I will add it to this post making you an official inductee of the Manly Pose Hall of Fame! STAY MANLY! ILoveRides. The original manly pose that started it all! Gertrude striking a manly pose. The Bebes. The Bebes are HUGE manly pose enthusiasts! The Bebes with Top Thrill Dragster. On-ride manly pose!!!! So manly! Six Flags Enthuseast. Excellent form, very manly. ILoveRides and ILoveBunnies. Feeling super manly that day. ILoveRides and ILoveBunnies. A painful ride on Ghost Rider is much more bearable when you're manly. GriffyTiffy. A little more subdued manly pose, but we'll take it! Skycoastin Steve. That's some epic manliness right there. Don't break the coaster with your muscles. Atem122. Manly AND Meaty. Sir Clinksalot. Well, it's manly-ish.

Fabbri Spinning mouse and sheesh

I've been on the same ones, and agree 100% with your comments and how you rated them. -
Are you really questioning our exalted savior of the big dipper? I also don't like rides, I love them! But questioning Prince Desmond is a no no. Anyways, I assume you figured it out, but #11 is listed as #13 and it says "I like rides" instead of "I love rides" for some strange reason that only a roller coaster loving Nigerian could understand.

Ferrari World Discussion Thread
ILoveRides replied to Captain Jack's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For such advanced simulators I'm kinda surprised that behind them they put a bright color changing wall with a projected pattern. I would think the wall will make the experience less immersive, because you'll see the pattern on the wall move relative to what the simulator is doing, telling your brain what's really happening. Plus, there's nothing like quickly changing neon colors behind the screen to immerse you into the experience of driving a Ferrari (sarcasm). It's a minor criticism, but I think a dark wall without a pattern would've been a better choice. They could have put the crazy bright colors on a sign in front of the simulators or something. Considering that's about all the criticism I could come up with, it's a testament to how great the whole Ferrari World project looks. -

Lol, that in the video took his seat ON the lapbar And his last words are "Hold Tight!" Which is good advice considering he's going to fly out otherwise. -

Noooooo! This is sad. I really wanted to do this when I was in Tokyo but I didn't have time. I almost wish I had skipped Joypolis now and done this instead since Spin Bullet wasn't really my cup of tea. -
The Empty Grave Haunted Attraction
ILoveRides replied to socalMAN123's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Brittney and I went to The Empty Grave on Saturday and really enjoyed it. It was so much fun going through a haunted house with just the two of us where all the scares were directed at us. I'm used to haunted houses that send big groups through back-to-back... and most of the scares get directed at other people. The several minute gap between groups and the willingness to send small groups is what made this haunt stand out in my mind. It felt like we were the only ones in the attraction at the time. There were also some great scare actors - some scary and some hilarious - who did a wonderful job. Keep up the great work guys! My only advice for next year would be to add some sort of big finale with a big scare. It sort of felt like it just ended. A chainsaw or something else with bigger impact would make a great ending. But overall, I enjoyed it a lot and would recommend this haunt.
