For those who got called back about the commercial, what time did you guys email them? I sent my message Fri, Feb 19 at 10:12 pm... which was less than an hour after it was posted on the SFMM Facebook page... but I still haven't heard back from them. Just curious if they're really taking people first come, first served.

What if Jurassic Park was real?
ILoveRides replied to PriestofSyrinx's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The problem is, if Jurassic Park were real I fear they'd end up standing on the shoulders of geniuses to accomplish something as fast as they could... and before they even knew what they had, they would patent it and package it and slap it on a plastic lunchbox, and then they'd sell it, they'd want to sell it. -

Thanks Bebes! And sorry SuperShawn Hopefully there will be another chance for you to get one. Here's my mini trip report from my Disneyland Mikestery Card adventure.... I found the Mikestery Card on Wednesday, but really it all started on Tuesday at Target. On a random errand run to Target, while browsing the toy aisles, I happened upon a 75% off marble roller coaster toy. I've been known to fill the apartment with roller coaster contraptions from time to time, so I couldn't resist spending $10 on it. That night I stayed up all night playing with it, not having any clue that a Mikestery Card was awaiting discovery only 20 minutes away at Disneyland. Finally, at 6am (told you I stayed up all night), I decided to go to bed... but just before bed I did what any true Big Mike reader would do... check the The Big Mike Roadshow thread for updates of course! To my surprise, not only did I find a post, but I found out there was a Mikestery card only minutes away!!!!!! I knew I needed to get there early to be the first person to get it, so I only got 2 hours of sleep before waking up and trekking through the rain to Disneyland. I figured the card had probably been spotted by Disneyland cleaners in the few days it had been there and been thrown out, but I tried anyways, and to my surprise, it was still there. I grabbed it (with a huge smile on my face), and waited outside California Adventure for them to open at 10. Luckily the rain stopped, and not many people showed up - I assume because it had been raining earlier, and it looked like it might rain more. I only had 2.5 hours to stay at the parks (had to get to the lab - I'm studying to become an Imagineer someday!), but it was easily one of the best times I've ever had at Disneyland and DCA. Every single ride was a walk on. In the 2.5 hours I was there I got on Midway Mania, California Screamin' five times, tower of terror, soarin', and space mountain 3 times. So big thanks to Big Mike for putting the Mikestery Card at Disneyland! Without it, I probably wouldn't have gone that morning, and would've missed having such a great time at the parks. I also suppose it's fitting that I found the Mikestery Card at Disneyland, my all-time favorite park. Now, on to the pictures... I love Disneyland! Thanks again Big Mike for making me get up after only 2 hours of sleep and walk through the rain!!! All joking aside though, I had one of the best times at Disneyland I've ever had - so I'm really glad the Mikestery card made me wake up and go. One last shot of the Mikestery Card in front of the Matterhorn before taking the monorail out of the park Me in front of the castle with my new best friend, Mr. Mikestery card! Last ride on space mountain Mikestery Card... get off my face... I can't see!!! Mikestery Card loves space mountain On the lift hill to space Mesmerizing blue lights Ready to launch It doesn't get much better than this! One lady even got a train entirely to herself. But this is an even better sign! This means there is no wait! This is always a good sight at Space Mountain. For those who have never been to Disneyland, this means there's less than a 10 minute wait. Mikestery Card is going to space! Mikestery Card and I are terrified on Tower of Terror! Here's the Mikestery card going on a preview ride of the new red line trolleys that are under construction Then the Mikestery Card went Soarin' Over California. Bye bye paradise pier The Mikestery card says "WHEEEE!!!!!" Look how excited the Mikestery Card is to be riding Screamin! Last ride on screamin Oh and I never get the red train. I've ridden this coaster hundreds of times but only had the red train two or three times. Today I broke the spell and got it a bunch! Yay for no lines. 4 rides in the front row, and 1 in back. I got the Mikestery card in every ride photo that day! Then over to Screamin'... where I got hungry and decided to chomp on a Mikestery card. First up... Midway Mania. I always wondered what happens when you get a record. Luckily, I was only about the 10th person to ride that day, so I was able to get the daily record. So what happens when you get a record? Surprisingly little haha. That star is about it. Still wet from the rain. It rained a little during one of my California Screamin' rides, but that was the last of the rain. Took this while waiting for the park to open at the rope inside DCA. and I got it at my favorite amusement park no less! I've been coming to Disneyland since before I can remember coming to Disneyland... My first coaster was here... and I even hope to work for Disney someday as an Imagineer. So it's fitting that I got it here. Yayyyyy! Sure enough, there it was! I was so happy I could hardly contain myself. This moment made waking up after 2 hours of sleep and walking through the rain totally worth it. But as I got closer, I noticed something yellow I walked up to the "California" sign... at first it looked like the card was missing... The rain stopped just as I arrived at California Adventure.

Many parks I've been to do offer vegan meals. Legoland does, and every Disney park I've been to has. Plus many parks at least have something you can modify (i.e. get it without cheese) to make vegan. So it isn't unheard of for large parks to offer a vegan option. I know they'd probably let me bring something into the park for the day, but the reason I was asking was to see if I should add the $15 dinner to my order. I just asked because I'd love to go to the dinner if something vegan was offered, but it sounds like not... no worries though.
