I just had some of that new grilled chicken today. It was good, but I prefer their fried chicken more though. The skin was a bit too greasy and didn't have much flavor and the drumstick didn't even have any skin whatsoever. It was just covered in seasoning. The side were delicious, but the potato wedges were put in the bag the wrong way and fell out when I tried to pull them out. The restaraunt was empty when I first came in, but after I ordered a meal, a huge crowd of people showed up carrying those coupons.

^ What about a guy in a duck suit? Honestly though, both Whizzer and S:TE are considered coasters IMO. Both roll and coast, but Whizzer is full-circuit while S:TE is a shuttle. The only difference between S:TE and WT is the fact that S:TE uses LIMs, is a lot taller, is not inverted, and doesn't have a twisted spike. -
Six Flags Magic Mountain Terminator Salvation: The Ride

Man its so hard to believe this was a slab of concrete a few months ago and now its almost complete! The sign looks awesome, but I'm really interested in seeing the ride's theming and the trains even more. Hopefully SF went all out with the new theming! -

MMM... That's one yummy looking coaster. But now I'm more interested in the Mega-Lite. -
Is it a dildo? Or a knife? Something that belongs on sports equipment?

If you look at the list on page 3 and the list I copy/pasted, you'll clearly see a match with some or most of the possible rides/attractions slated to open with the park. And I hope you DO know that any Wikipedia entry with a number subscript/superscript in brackets next to it leads to a reference, so you can confirm that some of the confirmed attractions WILL be built (or are planned to be built). As for the possible Hulk Coaster, it seems to be some sort of launch coaster. -

Marriotte's Americana

1. Both woodies look absolutely incredible. 2. The scenery around the woodie and top spin are excellent/ 3. The area around the Maverick clone seems a little sparse; however, the area probably isn't completed yet. Is this park based off of the original Marriott's Great America parks or is the name just something you came up with? Overall great job! -

From Wikipedia Confirmed Attractions The numbers are references, which means that the rides with the numbers next to them are official. Unconfirmed Attractions The underlined rides are possible coasters The rides in bold are actual coasters -

Sorry for the double post, but I found a model of the park online and thought I might share it. Here's the link with some construction and pics of the model itself... http://www.thethemeparkguy.com/park/universal-studios-singapore/ Back area of the park with what looks like the Hulk coaster. Taken from page 3 Not sure about King Kong or Tokyo Drift, but it looks like Mummy, Galactica, and Hulk are coasters. -

Awesome, so that means that the yellow B&M track is not for Battlestar Galactica. -

^^ I looked through all the pics and haven't seen a trace of any coaster track, let alone the dueling coaster's track. Can you provide a link to the track pics? EDIT: If the park were really building a sitdown and stand up, the only companies that build both sitdown coasters and stand up coasters are B&M and Intamin. Intamin hasn't built a coaster for decades though, which leaves B&M, which has mysterious yellow track sitting outside of it at the moment. Hmm.... -
^^ I know that the People for the Eating of Tasty Animals would be very proud.

Inverted Wooden Coaster

^ What would a coaster company be doing on The Raptor Pit forums? http://www.theraptorpit.com/forum/index.php And no it's not about the coaster either. -
Gemini Source http://www.rcdb.com/id14.htm Colossus Source http://www.rcdb.com/id26.htm So technically Gemini was actually the tallest coaster in the world and had the longest drop, while Colossus was the longest and fastest coaster in the world. Colossus was the tallest, fastest wood coaster in the world, while Gemini was the tallest, fastest steel coaster in the world when they both opened in 1978.

Inverted Wooden Coaster
netdvn replied to Vffreak07's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I just went to the website and all I have to say is... The wooden invert seems like a good idea, but the structure looks way too close to the trains. Not to mention the fact that the wooden track doesn't look like it can support much without collapsing. The whip ride looks really fun. The concept for the Quidditch coaster looks kinda... bad... You'd think they'd hire a better concept artist to design the coaster. Even I could draw a better concept than that. It kinda reminds me of the hideous SFGAdv Lightnin Loops concept art. But what about Intamin's PnP's? They took a wooden coaster, tweaked the design, and nowadays, every single PnP is universally loved in the enthusiast community! The wooden invert could possibly be done, but I really don't think this guy will build it. -
Colossus was tied with CP's Gemini as the tallest, fastest coaster in the world when it first opened. I'm not sure about longest though. I wouldn't consider Ninja to be an inverted coaster, but it IS the only suspended coaster on the west coast, I think... S:TE is technically the world's first strata-coaster as well as the first roller coaster to top 400 feet and surpass the 100 mph speed barrier. It pretty much kept the record until 2003 when TTD was built.
