Busch Gardens Williamsburg TR 4/25/09
netdvn replied to B-RadG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Alpengeist wasn't too bad for me the last few times I rode it (last year). It's currently my number 1 coaster. It seemed forceful and smooth for a 12 year-old coaster but that may be because Alpengeist is the only B&M invert I've ever ridden. -
Shane's Amusement Attic
netdvn replied to montezooma's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thank you for posting these Shane. I was waiting for this update since you announced it. However, the update is SO photo-heavy, that my computer cannot display all the images at once causing most of the pics to appear broken. I'm gonna try to view the rest of the pics on Monday from my school's computer. And again, thank you for posting these. Its so cool seeing both MGAs back when they first opened. Keep it up. Dan -
SeaWorld Orlando (SWO) Discussion Thread
netdvn replied to disneygurlz2s's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Manta looks great, but surprisingly empty. And the new sign looks beautiful on the rock formation. I'm jealous of Orlando right now. -
Or a stand up... Or a SPACE DIVER!! Check out this Carowinds commercial. Because Shane is playing the male news anchor at the beginning. I wonder if he already posted this in his Attic thread? There should be a rule that everyone has to post some sort of awesome You Tube video whenever they reply in this thread.

You're welcome... And if you need to find any more Z-Force/Flashback pics, go to RCDB. They just uploaded a bunch of pics from when it operated at both SFGAm and SFOG. -

I also posted a picture of Z-Force's concept art as well just in case you didn't have RCT2. Just go to the SFMM thread and scroll down. -
The adventure of Lil' Robby Robb

^ Have you ever thought about distributing the book through TPR first? I'm sure Robb will definately let you sell copies through the store if you ask him permission first. -
Six Flags Magic Mountain Flashback
netdvn replied to gavt1976's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I posted a pic of Z-Force/Flashback as well as a link to download the coaster (RCT2) in the SFMM thread. If you have RCT2 and are willing to download the coaster's layout you can use that to recreate the coaster in RCT3. Also RCT2 has Flashback in the SFMM scenario, but I'm not sure if it matches the actual ride layout or not. -
^ It didn't really offend me, it just made me sick. Seeing old unattractive people wearing Speedos really turns me off. Luckily I wasn't eating anything at the time. Personally I'd post those in the Speedo thread. PS: Do you know what Darth Vader was doing? Here's some pics I found online. And last but not least, an advertisement for my artwork click the link in my sig if you want to see more. Epic FAIL Pedobear's favorite toy! Suicide Soccer?

I couldn't find any problems with any of the strips. Except one thing... Why would somebody ask a random stranger if they ate tacos or not on a coaster? That just seems so random. And then he asked you if you've ever eaten Wendy's?? -
My sister and her son somehow got into an accident. They're both in the hospital right now and me and my family will be visiting her later this afternoon. On top of that I have a two tests Monday.

^ I sent you a PM a few days ago and you never replied. Are you not interested? -
OK thank you! Does anybody else find it funny that both Marriott Tidal Waves were both named a variation of Greezed Lightning and both have been moved to three different parks? And now one Tidal Wave is being used as parts for another Tidal Wave? And if Shane happens to buy this GL from Joyland there would be three Tidal Wave/Greezed Lighning's that have been moved to three different parks. Strange

[RCT2] Excitement Point
netdvn replied to Stoksy's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
You could change the elevation of the land around the Batman coaster, that way you don't really need to lower the track. You should take out the small loop and replace it with a larger loop since it looks kinda ackward. You could also add some buildings around the ride so it doesn't look very plain. As for the rest of the superhero area, you should add a lot more scenery like buildings and plants around the area to make it appear less empty, but assuming that you're not finished with the area, I'll let that slide. -

Six Flags Las Vegas [RCT2]

Excellent work! Everything is detailed. It looks like you've obviously spend a large amount of time on your park. Keep it up because I can't wait for your next update -
^^ The thread about the original Greezed Lightning that used to operate at SFAW and its condition at Joyland in Lubbock Texas. I was asking about the former Tidal Wave/Greased Lightning that used to operate at CGA and was moved to SFDK a few years back because the poster above me was wondering if they could move the Texas GL to CGA and rename it Tidal Wave after the original. I was wondering if the CGA Tidal Wave was still in storage or if SF moved it to Kentucky to be used as parts for their Tidal Wave/Greezed Lightning (which was the Gurnee model) because it would be more difficult to move one Schwarzkopf shuttle loop from Texas to California. Especially if the park's original Schwarzkopf shuttle loop is sitting in storage not too far away. So to summarize, is the original Tidal Wave/Greased Lightning still in California or was it moved to Kentucky to be used as parts for its sister?

^ That vid was awesome! Anyway, while we’re somewhat talking about SFGAm, check out this awesome collection of retro Great America commercials that I found on You Tube recently.
