  1. That’s one tiny dildo. Or maybe its bacteria Springs of some sort? Naw it’s a dildo.
  2. B&M is definitely capable of building a compact ride like their first three coasters (Iron Wolf and both Vortex clones). Or it could be a Space Diver.
  3. But doesn’t SFDK still have Tidal Wave/Greased Lightning in storage or was it sent to SFKK to be used as parts for Tidal Wave/Greezed Lightning?
  4. Judging by the pics and videos I’ve seen, TOTC always looked white to me. Maybe it was probably the camera quality at the time. In fact I noticed that a lot of the park’s original rides had a red, white, and blue color scheme (maybe to fit the America theme the park had). And I can’t wait for your MGA update. Ever since I got those SFGAm maps two weeks ago, I’ve had an interest with the park and its history.
  5. Marriott's Great America commercial jingle Can't get it out of my head!
  6. They got lost in a fire. How many fingers am I holding up?
  7. It could be as easy as Robb's parents decided to name him Robb with the extra "B".
  8. Really? I always thought that the coaster remained white until MGA converted it into Demon. Do you know why they decided to repaint the corkscrews like a special occaission or something?
  9. Maverick's heartline roll was scrapped a long time ago. Is it just me or is the Treble Clef element just an upward helix with a drop at the end and the Jump Cut just a few airtime hills? They don't seem like world's first elements to me. Or maybe its because HRRR the only Maurer Sohne coaster with those elements.
  10. Red Track - Carowinds' new hypercoaster Yellow Track - World's first B&M Space Diver! Z-Force was an Intamin coaster designed by B&M, so it would be B&M's first independent Space Diver.
  11. According to the descriptions, children and adults are capable of riding the rides, which makes them family rides.
  12. The magic probably wouldn't be the same if other parks decided to build Disney rides without character/movie licensing. Rides like BTMRR, EE, Raging Spirits, and Matterhorn would be very popular if they were built at other parks with the scale of the theming, but the magic probably wouldn't be there.
  13. FMP is trying to draw families, not older kids/teens. Most parks today are leaving the high thrills route and adding more family attractions to bring more families through the gate.
  14. So then why did you ask? Even though Disney isn't gonna license their rides outside of Disney parks, that doesn't stop other parks from ripping off Disney.
  15. The Dance - Garth Brooks
  16. 1. I've always wondered what Darth Vader is doing in that pic. 2,3, and 4. DUDE WTF is wrong with you? Children look at these boards too! I think I need to rip my eyes out now.
  17. Because Amtrak is a California fanboy. Why?
  18. 1. The building design looks great. Very well done 2. Scenery is awesome. Nice job. 3. I went back to the Countrytime Park thread and I've noticed that you didn't seem to finish. Are you gonna finish? Is it finished?
  19. What was the red coaster at the end of the video? The colors don't match TOTC or Demon (or even Shockwave for that matter).
  20. OK I understand, it was SFMM's decision to add OTSRs, not California's. Thanks for clearing that up Chuck.
  21. ^^ Terminator Salvation: The Ride says hi. Actually I think SF does a pretty decent job of upgrading their old rides and theming new ones. Nowhere on par with Busch or Herschend, but light years better than CF.
  22. ^ I remember reading somewhere that all California coasters with inversions are required to use OTSRs for insurance and safety reasons. Montezooma's Revenge still uses lap bars because of some sort of grandfather clause which excludes looping coasters over a certain age from including OTSRs. The other SF looping Schwarzkopfs aren't required by law to have OTSRs like Revolution does. I'll try to find where I read it.
  23. As much as I hate the fact that BGE doesn't bother to run both trains in LNM's loops, you have to admit that the ride IS 31 years old and running both trains in the loops may cause some wear and tear on the structure itself. So running one train in the loops could be keeping maintenence costs down as well as extending life on the coaster. However, I DO believe that if they're not gonna run both trains in the loops, they should seriously take the trims off the second drop and remove one of the block brake sections in order to improve the ride's pacing. I'm gonna veer this thread off topic a bit and ask if Montezooma's Revenge can operate without OTSRs because of a grandfather clause, why can't Revolution? (considering the fact that it's older)
  24. Amazing LSHoF pics. Unfortunately I live too far away to be able to visit anytime soon.l Is it just me or do I see houses just beyond LSHoF's lift? Are those used as international housing for the employees?
  25. Thank you for clearing that up... I still feel slow though.
