^ You should be lucky SFGAm actually kept a lot of the original rides. The Santa Clara park barely has any original Mariott-era rides left compared to SFGAm.

^ FC = Floorless Coaster KD, Carowinds, and CP all have land clearing going on right now. Both KD and Carowinds just recieved coasters, but Carolina Cobra is just a small addition compared to a B&M. All three parks already have stand-ups so that rules out a stand up coaster if it were to go to either one. That leaves a sitdown coaster. All three parks have sitdown Arrow loopers, but that may not rule out a B&M Sitdown yet. None of the three parks have a SPACE DIVER though. So if the yellow track were to go to the CF parks that already have land clearing and construction, it would have to be a sitdown model. EDIT: DUCKTALES! Woo-oooh!

^ I know that the CDC and the WHO are working around the clock to try to find a way to keep people away from the new virus and when it comes to global diseases, I generally trust those sources more than I trust 24 hour news. However, the thing is that 24 hour news is really blowing this situation out of proportion, like they do everything else. Now I know that West Nile, SARS, Bird Flu, and Mad Cow Disease did not go away after the media stopped covering them, but these epidemics unneccisarily engulfed the world in chaos because the news media over-sensationalized them. Overall, I hope this disease eventually dies down in the near future.

Does anybody else see this as some sort of Bird Flu/West Nile/Mad Cow Disease-type scare where the media tries to prophesize some sort of pandemic to get more viewers? It seems that swine flu has the exact same symptoms as the regular flu has. Could all these people suspected to have swine flu just have the regular flu? It could just be a regular case of the flu... ^ My guess is that Potter is behind schedule because of HRRR's lift issues on top of the fact that the resort is currently working on two major construction projects at the moment. The opening probably will be delayed, but that gives Universal extra time to perfect the theming.

I haven't been on either Nitro or SheiKra, so I won't compare Apollo or Griffon to those two. Apollo is a very fun coaster. The ride gives really good air towards the back and its my second favorite coaster behind Alpengeist. The theming is nonexistent though. In fact, what is the entire Festa Italia area supposed to be themed to in the first place? Griffon is meh... IMO for Busch standards. I personally think that Busch could've done a MUCH better job incorporating Griffon into the Aquitaine area, but it seems to stick out way too much. The entire area around Griffon seems sparse and could use a lot more trees. The coaster is great, but it could use a lot more theming than a building with chandeliers and flat-screen TV's for theming. A story and some theming need to be added to make the ride better. I think BGW should invest more money into theming the actual ride than just plopping it down in some random spot like SF and CF.

^^ I personally think if Cowabunga Bay is a huge success, you should definately consider buying GL, renaming it Tidal Wave, and building an MGA-style sign complete with flashing lights and everything. But that would mean that all three coasters with the name Greezed Lightning/Greased Lightning would havie carried the Tidal Wave name at one point and moved to three different parks.

That spider is probably one of the prettiest spiders I've ever seen, but seeing one would probably freak me out a little. As for large spiders, here's a picture of a camel spider... They're not exactly spiders, but related to them. They have a leg-span of five-six inches and they generally eat smaller animals like lizards, birds, etc... Their bites are painful and can be infected, but not venomous. The picture has been circulating around the internet for a while now. Shane, I've tried viewing the update from my school's computer and I've encountered the same problem with extremely slow load-times and broken picture links. And on top of that, my school's connection is high-speed. I suggest you follow the format of your previous updates and you should continuously post updates once a day for a week or two instead of uploading a huge amount of pics at once. That way those of us with slow connections can view the pics with no problem whatsoever. Dan
