  1. S+S Space Shots scare me. It is the only irrational fear I have. However, I think this ride would be the scariest: A Fish-Hook Coaster where the free-fall bit is head-first. Think of X's first drop, but 1000' high.
  2. I got Nitro in. The 445' monster entwines with Chaos Theory. Another plus is a 230' tall Schwarzkopf 6-looper called Tornado.
  3. I have always wondered what my coasters look like in RCT3.
  4. Ride a Vekoma today! (see my av)
  5. Here. It doesn't have the fancy supports, though. Post a videoof it, please! The Devil's Flight III sans scenery.TD6 Here. It's the 25-inversion one.
  6. Here's a pic of the FD3 coaster. It is pretty realistic and -- sorry. Okay, it isn't realistic at all. Here's the NEW Devil's Flight!
  7. Or a B+M 13-Inversion! Loop-Dive Loop-Zero G Roll-Cobra Roll-MCBR-Batwing-Loop-Interlocking Corks-3 Barrel Rolls!
  8. The FD3 coaster got remade for Idylwild Mark V. It now has 10 vertical loops, out of a total of 25 inversions.
  9. Well... not at the moment. I trainered them, so EIN = 20,5,5. It hits 130 mph at its fastest, and provides about 36 seconds of airtime. I did get Comet in.
  10. The park currently contains: One (1) pair of 580' dueling Intamin Hypers: Ruby and Sapphire. One (1) Vekoma 25-looper loosely based off the FD3 coaster. One (1) B+M Stand-up with 11 inversions. One (1) recreation of Weiner Looping. One (1) well-themed mine train. My out-and-back Roaring 20's woodie is on the way! Ruby & Sapphire!
  11. Okay. I have decided to do a new version of Idylwild (the workbench that I build most of my parks on) and it won't have much themeing. The coasters are usually unrideable (I use SoB and 8cars to get them rideable) but the layouts are usually great-looking. To keep you pacified, here is a screenshot from the 2nd-gen Idylwild Heights. The blue thing is Chaos Theory.
  12. I'd say the most outdated element is the "airtime" hill ... the type that has no airtime at all (e.g. the "uninteresting" hill on ME, the speed hill on Thunder Dolphin) or the type that squashes your nuts (e.g. Dodonpa).
  13. Mine's more realistic. It's still unrideable, though. THe trick to building stuff like this is to forget about rideability (SoB Trainer is good with this) and let your creative juices flow!
  14. Good point. The launch could be steel, the rest wood, and the trains could be Century Flyer (vintage P&C) or Millennium Flyer (GCI).
  15. That is an excellent attention-grabber. Another one is "Just won the Lottery!"
  16. I've been toying with a "Splitting B+M" for a while. My idea is to have the Dive-Machine-wide cars be floorless, and run on two tracks. Normally, the two trains are linked together, but at one point, the connection breaks and the tracks diverge. the two trains go through a dueling layout, link together, and fly through a bunny-hop finale into the shared brake run. B+M wouldn't design this, but I think it could work.
  17. I am the only coaster fanatic in my family. Don't know where I got it from, because my father gets motion sick on Ferris wheels. (I am not kidding.) The coaster that hooked me was probably the Yankee Cannonball.
  18. I never rode WJ... I'll make up for it by shelling out 15 bucks to torture myself on the red thing on NY,NY hotel and casino. (No, I will not name the red thing, because it puts in extra pain for those who name it.)
  19. I think the rides in 3 are unrealistic. 2 has great trainers, better scenery, and never lags. I even play LL sometimes... but 2 is much better.
  20. Dang. Could we see some pics of FD3: The Ride? I don't have RCT3. I created a version in RCT2, designed to be a bit tamer, and it does not derail. Here is my version.
  21. THe basic idea behind the cheats is that when you bulldoze a tree (or whatever) for a ride, you pay more than if you simply deleted the tree. However, if it is a "+" Scenery (it gives you money when you delete it), it gives you more money when you delete it with a ride.
  22. Coasters: 299' B+M 15-inversion Sitdown Racing Intamin Giga (500', a 112-degree first drop) A replica of the Aeroplane Coaster at Playland B+M Inverted with 9 inversions Schwarzkopf portable 7-looper Thrill Rides: Zipper Chaos Giant Frisbee 500' Giant Drop Intamin 1st Generation Freefall That weird chairswings drop tower thing Top Spin Matterhorn Kiddy Rides: Frog Hopper Caterpillar The airplane thingies at Canobie Lake Kiddy Coaster Short Bus Crystal maze Another kiddy coaster Water Rides Liquid Coaster Log Flume Shoot-the-Chutes River Rapids Food: Fried Dough Churros Pepsi products Other: A dark ride like the Mine of Lost Souls Gardens Plenty of hills A big sign saying: "Here marks the spot where a Vekoma Coaster exploded." This could be a good theme for an area. Games: Cut the Cheese Strategy Coaster Motion simulators About 300 pinball machines
