Best American B&M Inverted coaster
timetrial3141592 replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Actually, the British spelling is "Favourite". Anyway, I chose Montu. I was at BGT on a day where the trims were essentially off. That little loop is intense... -
Best Drops....

The best drop is on Riddler's Revenge. Front seat. Center-right. It feels like you will fly out of the train. -
B&M Looper and Invert drops
timetrial3141592 replied to smallish's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Better: A drop into a GIGANTIC Zero G Roll, then a Cobra Roll, Loop, Dive Loop, MCBR, Inclined Loop, Flatspin, airtime hill, helix, some other stuff, Flatspin, and a Zero G Roll at the end. -
Holy Land Theme Park Going Under

Add a coaster. Theme it to ...um... hmm... the flight from Egypt. -
West Valley Park

I generally ignore themeing and concentrate on coasters. My parks look ugly pathwise, but the peeps love it. -
Those of you who have been following my Idylwild construction will have noticed that the terrain is excellent. I am starting a contest. You have until May 31 (real time) to build a park and theme it. Rules: 1) You may not go and add custom scenery. This is about doing more with less. 2) You may use up to two trainers. 3) You MUST use the terrain creatively. 4) The park must contain at least 7 coasters. 5) The coasters do not have to be rideable if they look cool. Winners will be in these categories: Best Overall Best Themeing Best Coaster (rideable) Best Coaster (unrideable) Best Use of Terrain Please post if you wish to enter. Idylwild Heights contest.SV6 You need RCT2 to run this. It is a "mystery terrain" contest, as you won't know the terrain until you open it.

So why do TOGOs (outside wheels) hurt so much?

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
timetrial3141592 replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I asked the kids at my lunch table for stupid GP sayings. Here you are: "The Batman ride (at SFNE) is 200' tall!" "Superman (again at SFNE) is the tallest coaster on the planet!" "I went to Six Flags and rode Medusa AND Wildcat!" "What's the best coaster ever?" "Where's Superman?" (standing in front of Superman) "The net (on Hulk) is to catch people who fall out." At SFNE: "Where's X?" (My answer: "About 3000 miles from here.") "Scream goes upside down!" (Scream is an S+S Space Shot, FYI.) "How many Immelmanns are on this?" (pointing to Batman: TDK) "Where's the coaster that launches you at 100 mph?" "I heard that Boomerang fell off the track!" (Could happen.) "Look! Someone fell off a coaster and landed here!" The above quote was the result of a joke involving a gallon of paint. My friend and I poured a splat of paint on the ground near the SLC, then hung around and waited for a GP to notice. -
Rough Coaster Contest
timetrial3141592 replied to cooljuggler's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I disagree with "above the track". SLC's should count. Furthermore, positive vert G's can go into the red on Schwarzkopfs (Schwarzkopf loops pull 6 G's). There should be bad transitions in order to be "rough". -

I used to be one of those people... My other pet peeve is when people exaggerate stats (at SFMM, I learned that Viper was 300' tall and the first loop was 210', the second 150' and the third 100'. And did you know that Arrow corkscrews are actually called "flatspins"?) I also hate line cutters. Although at SFNE, one person cut in line to get in the back of the SLC. I enjoyed their looks of pain as they got off. -
RCT 1/2/3 Rants!

^The Ferry would require an AI that could guide the ferry. Scenery limits... yeah. Let's not go into those. Boosters are key. We need a double loop element (Zonga/Texas Tornado/Thriller). -

After hearing that Superman: Ride Of Steel at SFNE was "Boring because it only went upside down once," I decided that the GP were getting out of hand. First of all, Superman does NOT go "upside down once." It does not have any inversions. The closest thing it has is the overbank. And it is not "boring." Honestly. Post your GP complaints here!
