  1. ^You are quick! Always taking care of every interest. Great Job with TPR Robb!
  2. ^I think both companies fit the bill. ...Dont get be wrong I love a good B&M. Diamondback blew me away this year. I actually liked it better than Nitro and I was always a big fan of Nitro. Im not an airtime guru but Diamondbacks air was sweet. MF kicks both of their asses though
  3. ^I agree that their coasters might not be the best but most of them are really fun! I am actually a big fan of Firehawk! It was such a great suprise. Kicks Superman Flyers' butt Flight of Fear is great even with that MCBR.
  4. I hope they build something other than a Flyer. I know many of you enjoy Manta but I just think that type of ride is getting old fast like the standup craze. TO be honest, I would rather see new suspended coaster go in its place.
  5. I have to be honest and say that I could care less! As long as the ride is good, who cares what names are on the front?
  6. ^Maybe Ford was a poor choice!!!!
  7. ^I dont agree with the comparison of B&M being the Mercedes Benz of coasters. I don't think its every parks first choice. I would say it is more like Ford, where you know what you are buying because so many other parks have a similar ride made by the same company. Like Ford, B&M is reliable and offer a great ride but you arent getting anything innovative or unique from other parks. With Intamin you are getting more of a luxury type product. You are going to get an innovative product, unique to other parks, however you may pay a little more on the maintainence. B&M just has a few models of products that they have profected over time. Someone stated earlier that is the reason they always have a 230ft lift hill so they can make simple changes with their coasters to make it work within a certain park. If I was a park CEO and I had the money to get something trully unique, Intamin would be the way to go. If I wanted a basic fun ride that is a little conservative I would go with B&M.
  8. For the record, I dont think, you in any way, resemble the other teenagers that post in this forum. Im talking about the ones that make comments such as "my home park is better than your home park" or the ones that repeat old jokes over and over. You are obviously far more mature and offer plenty of insight behind your statements. I enjoy reading your posts and actually agree with much of what you have to say. In your case, age is not a factor.
  9. I loved Firehawk! I prefer it to any of the Superman clones.
  10. ^Front is best on Raptor. I feel the same about every invert, to be honest.
  11. Personally, I could care less about a show when I go to an amusement or thempark unless its like Terminator at US, which seems more like a ride than a show. Just my opinion.
  12. ^I have never been beaten up so bad on a coaster other than revolution. Last time I rode Viper at MM it wasn't near as rough as Vortex. Maybe I just had a bad experience but after that ride I wasn't willing to give it another chance. OUCH!
  13. After my recent trip to Kings Island, I will have to say Vortex is up there with the worst of them. I felt like I was in a car accident the whole ride. The only smooth part was going up the lift hill. I would put it second behind Revolution.
  14. My top 3: 1)El Toro 2)Diamondback 3)Maverick
  15. ^^^^I am. I find it interesting to see how adding a giga coaster at KD will effect each parks attendence.
  16. Isn't the question "what is your favorite?"
  17. Riddlers Revenge for me. Probably my favorite ride at SFMM. Mantis comes in second.
  18. ^^meant no harm. Welcome to the forums. The powers that be just like for us to stick to the question asked. It is very easy for these threads to get way off topic.
  19. ^and they were corrected also. Read the question first.
  20. ^The question clearly states B&M inverts. Impulses are not B&M.
  21. It really is such a wonderful park. Too bad SF doesn't give it near the love it gives SFMM and SFGDV I would say SFOT is every bit on the same level as those two parks but with a lot friendlier crowd. Great photos! I look forward to seeing the rest of your trip
  22. ALthough MF is my favorite, I have to say that Gemini is a pretty underrated coaster. It never fails to give a fun ride. Pretty good airtime as well.
  23. ^I have heard quite a few people say they weren't impressed with Terminator. I hear its a fun ride but nothing more than a typical GCI. I know it gets a little extra hype being that its at SFMM. I will reserve my judgement until I ride it later this year.
  24. I'm sorry if I wasn't supposed to post my review in here. I really enjoyed this thread and PKImans KI photos and it appeared to be dead, so I thought I would post here instead of starting new thread. Sorry all
