^Have you ridden Bizarro? You hardly notice any effects while on the ride. MM could use that money for other purposes. It really is almost a waste. After a year the old paint starts to show through, the flames dont work, and the speakers are broke. I don't believe it will improve the ride at all. JMO I haven't been to MM in a long time. Do the flames still work on every ride? When I rode X2 the only thing that was noticeable in terms of improving the ride was the new cars. The rest is just meh

I respect your opinion too, but it was also a smoother ride than Scream is. I agree that Scream really isn't a ride that's going to knock your socks off but I think that it could be a very solid and enjoyable ride if management decided to introduce a Bizarro-like treatment. Sure, mist and fire only adds to the overall 'experience' like you said, but isn't it the experience that actually counts? It's like comparing X to X2. But as a stand alone ride, Scream and Bizarro both are only mediocre, there's just that fact that Bizarro has audio, fire, mist, and light effects alone with a smoother ride. I am in agreement with Bolliger&Mabillard here. Mist and fire effects do nothing for me as the rider. I think it just makes it more entertaining for spectators who are watching the ride. You hardly notice any of these effects while riding which is why adding a ridiculous Bizarro theme would not make me want to ride Scream any more. The only good thing that came from the X2 tansformation is adding the new trains, which are just as rough in my opinion, but are very cool looking.

My prediction on the reaction: There will be much more positive support, but the usual B&M fanboys will complain that there will not be enough airtime. You can never satisfy those people unless every hill slams you into your lap restraint. I on the other hand love a combination of elements. I love fast speed, overbanks, and of course a little air. I am excited for the announcement.

X2, Deja Vu, revolution, and sometimes Viper are all rough. I even think Batman was a little rough last time I rode it.

I found a lot more airtime on Diamondback than Nitro. Maverick, El Toro, Boulder Dash, and Voyage are the best in America.

^I think both seats offer something different and great. Toro truly is a great coaster.

lol I am in no way upset about anything. I just prefer not to get so involved with wild theories and speculation. It also gets annoying hearing the same old aquatrax and 500ft jokes that 13 yr olds and you repeat over and over. It can ruin a thread, that for the most part, is rather exciting and interesting. Just my opinion.

^I dont know how you feel, but it was fun the first couple times CP played this game. Now, I just find it annoying. Im a big CP fan but I find myself not caring as much because of these false hints and games. Why dont they just give an announcement date and stop all this madness?

I still think you guys are making too many inferences. I dont think there is any relation between their statment and the size of the ride.

^There is no way that refers to the biggest to smallest announcement. Thats a pretty subjective statement to say that CP new ride is a smaller announcement than the others.

No one has mentioned a Dive Coaster. It could be a possibility right? I am not a huge fan of them but it would be a unique experience to the point. I dont care what they build but I am not a big fan of the games CP plays. Really annoying

I have to admit, I'm pretty stoked for this announcement! That track is just screaming big! Kings Dominion deserves a great ride! I like how Cedar Fair spreads their wealth and doesn't limit big investments to two of their parks.

WIcked Twister only goes back and forth, with only one train and is still over 9 million. I dont believe one is that much more expensive than the other.

Moon Shine is nicknamed White Lightning. So, I really don't see what this has to do with a Kings Dominion giga coaster. That theme would probably have more to do with Carowinds. I think, more likely, Kd's coaster will be named after Dale Sr, or just have the usual awful, general Cedar Fair coaster theme. What are you hoping for? Another Bizzaro?

^^Yeah the inverts are smaller than all the others but I still consider them to be pretty large coasters.

I have to admit its kind of sad the a company invested so much in what should have been a great coaster. With the money they had spent, they could have built a GCI with two lift hills and rivaled its Father for length. The ride is impressive, as is Mean Streak and Texas Giant, but they just have boring, and rough layouts. I hate seeing any ride get demolished, but these three probably should go. I know they are rehabbing Texas Giant, so it will be interesting to see what exactly this rehab entails. Maybe it will decide the future of the other two. Sad to see any ride go
