  1. Either way, I could care less. I rode Diamondback and I loved it no matter how tall it was. I love huge lift hills and I like MF much more than and B&M, but if my home park was getting a B&M hyper I certainly wouldn't be upset.
  2. ^Correct me if I'm wrong, but TTD doesn't very much downtime anymore, and as you said it's still one of the top draws in CP. I personally love the ride and have no problem waiting and hour for the 17 seconds or so that it lasts.
  3. The hyper is not confirmed last time I checked, but if I were Carowinds patrons, I would be happy to have a nice new B&M no matter what the model, especially after just getting a boomerang. Keep in mind as well that Intamin pays the price in maintenance, while B&Ms usually hardly ever break down. Another thing you must consider, is B&M just takes orders from parks about what the parks want, and B&M gets the cash. Maybe most parks don't want a 300 foot maintenance nightmare, rather opting for a reliable 150-240 feet coaster from B&M. Not so sure you can say MF has been any kind of maintenance nightmare? The lift cable broke once but thats about it.
  4. ^You say that now because you are getting a huge Intamin!!!! Would you rather be getting that B&M hyper carowinds is getting?
  5. ^Not so sure I agree with this comment. Nitro has some good air but I felt DB has every bit as much, if not more.
  6. ^one of the worst flats ever! They have power tower, why would they get a boring and unreliable topple tower?
  7. ^I read on another forum that some guy is predicting CP was going to get a Topple Tower. Worst guess of all time!!!
  8. ^I have several large, tall friends that also never have problems getting on CP coasters. If you are too heavy and can't fit, that is not CP fought, its your own. I am always proud when I here people tell the story of how they lost weight and can now ride every coaster at the park. I know it isn't easy, but you can do it! Not sure why CP catches so much slack for their policies on heavy people. Its just all about safety these days.
  9. Each park is unique in their own way. If I had to choose I would definatley say that SFOT and SFGAM are above the rest. I base this on my experiences at the park. Although those two might not have the coaster line up SFMM has they do have better atmospheres, better crowds, cleaner, and park employees are much better, IMO, than the other big SF parks. I would put SFFT third.
  10. ^Like trying to get Yuengling here in Ohio!
  11. I personally like the banner. I think the lift hill looks 100% better with it.
  12. I hope they play these games for the next four months. That would be fun to see the same jokes played over and over again.
  13. This hinting crap is getting really old. Can they just give us a date when they are going to announce?
  14. Awesome PTR!!! Thanks for the tour. That is great they let you stand on top of Griffons lift hill. I can't imagine how neat the view was from up there.
  15. ^Who are you? And why would you fix the quote? You should be banned for that. Seriously, that is falsification and BS I never called out anyone either. Are you able to read the posts. I am a firm believer that we can all have our opinions and I have stated that in other threads. Now go away. Most of us were having a nice conversation.
  16. ^^That is not my quote. I would never say CP has no bad rides. They do have Mean Streak and several other rides I generally skip. There are so many choices that I don't even notice many rides they have. As far as flats go, the have Power Tower, Skyhawk, Maxair, Chaos, the list goes on and on. Whoever said they don't have any flats is either blind or hasn't really been to the park. I am guessing EnglndPatriots has never been, based on his comment. And for the record, I am not a fanboy. There is still plenty CP can improve upon, but I go to a park for great rides and a friendly atmosphere, and there are plenty of both at CP. I grew up a SFMM fan boy until I was lucky enough to move within 3 or 4 hours of CP. I can tell you that my experiences at CP are always so positive that I forget how high I once was on MM.
  17. ^Those people need to get a second job
  18. ^CP has a ton of flats, way more than most American parks. Children have plenty to do at the point as well. Growing up a SFMM fan in Cali, I remember hearing people bashing CP, for much of the same reason the guy above me posted, but when I got to CP I realized most of the criticism was BS.
  19. ^I was thinking of DT being a Dark ride. Sorry In that case I still dont care for a dark ride. Just gimme a new coaster. I will ride dark rides at Universal.
  20. Here is what I think of their little hints: Uh noy ing
  21. I would be so excited to see a GCI, I just hope they don't theme it to a new movie.
  22. ^They do have a dark ride and I agree they need a good wooden coaster.
  23. ^Now, thats a good one Lets just hope the kids dont overuse it
