  1. SFGAdv- x4 SFA Hershey Knoebels I'm planning on hitting these parks by the end of the summer: SFNE Lake Compounce Quassy Great Escape Kings Dominion SFStl Holiday World Waldameer
  2. That's a shame. I really like this coaster. I know many people don't however.
  3. I've only been on two: Kingda Ka Millennium Force
  4. ^ KI got: Back Lot Stunt Coaster in 2005 (New) Firehawk in 2007 (Used) Diamondback in 2009 (New) KD got:Back Lot Stunt Coaster in 2006 (New) Dominator in 2008 (Used) New coaster in 2010 (New) Seems like the same time line for rides at the two parks.
  5. Fahrenheit at Hershey Park has a single rider line.
  6. 13 out of 20. It was the older parks that I got wrong.
  7. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't El Toro always have that clank. Every time I've ridden it, I've heard the clank and just assumed that that was the sound it made as the train connected to the lift.
  8. ^^I'm pretty sure that those prices are for everyone or else they wouldn't put them up on their website.
  9. It was nice meeting you there Big Mike. Your TR sums up the event and ride really well. I look forward to meeting you again.
  10. I think El Toro has the best drop. I experienced it in the back seat for the first time yesterday and found it phenomenal.
  11. My favorites go in this order: Montu (BGA) Talon (Dorney) Batman: TR (SFGAdv) Alpengeist (BGE) Great Bear (Hershey) Raptor (Cedar Point) Its not that I don't like Raptor, its just I find the others more fun. All in all they are all pretty close to one another in terms of the quality of the rides.
  12. Of the coasters on the list I've been on Nitro, Apollo's Chariot, Ride of Steel at DL, and Superman: Ride of Steel at SFA. I chose Apollo's Chariot as it is the most fun to me. Nitro and Ride of Steel at DL come close, however. If Millennium Force was on the list, I would vote for that.
  13. There is also on-board audio, a shield tunnel with mist, building props, and the auger of doom, which also has mist.
  14. Fahrenheit was open today but Storm Runner was not.
  15. I was there and I don't believe they handed out free passes on the way out. Maybe they did and I just missed it. I mean I wasn't really looking for one as I have a season pass.
  16. ^^^ Nothing you can do about closing early. It obviously wasn't your fault. I'm just glad that you guys ran it that last time for the kids that came from Chicago. For all the people complaining about driving 3-1/2 hours (I'm one of them), they had it worse. Anyways, it was nice meeting you.
  17. ^ Oh, I'm definitely not happy about it. I hadn't been to this park in years and was really looking for to getting the new credits. (I ended up getting 2 of the 3). I totally agree that its not in the best interest of a business to close early and kick its customers out. I was just stating what I thought Six Flags was thinking when they made their decision.
  18. ^ And the park was open for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. The park had to have known the rain would stop later. However, they saw the very small turnout and thought, "We should just use the weather as an excuse and shut the park down for today so we don't lose too much money". It sucks from the park guests standpoint, but it is understandable from a business standpoint.
  19. That's what I thought too, but they assured us that they always test it with dummies, so there might actually be a reason for it. However, on the last run of the day, they sent it out with less than 18 people so idk.
  20. Yeah, thanks Robb for all the extras with the DVD and t-shirt. I opened the package expecting only an extra pen, but found a bunch of park maps in addition to the pen. They're really sweet. Thanks.
  21. Yeah, they ran it a total of three times. I was on every ride. We had to recruit more people to ride it before they would run it though. (Apparently it has to have 18 people on the ride at one time for "safety" reasons) It wasn't the most enjoyable ride, however, as the rain pelted your face.
  22. Yep, they closed at 12. I was there riding El Toro when I was told that the park was closing and had to get off. The park was empty today (We had to recruit people to ride El Toro because we didn't have enough people for"safety" reasons before we could ride it) so I guess they were just making sure that they weren't going to lose money. It sucked having to leave that early.
