  1. Knoebels' official website has another update. It looks like progress is moving along fast and smoothtly. knoebels.com/news-blog.asp Their facebook page also has pictures. Knoebels' Facebook
  2. I'm going to have to go with my home park, Knoebels. It just has that great mix of roller coasters and flat rides. Lake Compounce is also a great park. However, that park is made by Boulder Dash. Without it, it would be a nice family park. With it makes it a destination every roller coaster enthusiast needs to visit.
  3. I voted Montu. It was the first one I was on and its still my favorite. For reference, I've been on: Montu Alpengeist Raptor Talon Batman: The Ride (SFGAdv) Great Bear
  4. You're right water is expensive in the park. Did you ever think about bringing in your own water bottle? Or maybe drinking out of the water fountains. As others have said, if you don't want to pay the food prices you can eat at your car or even go to one of the many fast food places outside of the park. Finally, this park is a horrendously popular park during the summer. If you don't want to pay for a flash pass then you are better off going towards the beginning of the season when the crowds are later. I would never go out way to go to this park at this time of year.
  5. Kozmo's Kurves is now on site according to Kozmo Knoebel's Facebook. Here's some pics.
  6. ^^^Medusa at SFGAdv was not very popular. The ride had shorter wait times and even opened later than the rest of the park. Six Flags was brilliant in retheming it as many guests think it is a new ride or just want to experience the the new features. By retheming Scream it would potentially make it more popular and some GP might actually think it's a new ride.
  7. ^^Seriously dude. Can you please learn to spell the park names right? It's Knoebels and Dorney Park. Anyways, I'm going to Waldameer for the first time on Friday. I can't wait to ride Ravine Flyer 2!
  8. ^ I'm pretty sure the kicker was the employee. The article explains that he let go and dropped himself down into a landscaped area.
  9. 1. Dominator 2. Bizarro 3. Batman: The Dark Knight 4. Hydra The Revenge
  10. Foton World. Someone else can post a picture for me.
  11. I agree with this. I went on one of these for the first time at SFNE on Monday and I was glad the cycle wasn't too long. It was very intense.
  12. I'm going to have to agree with the others too and say that you should do all three parks. Just this past Monday I was able to get all the coasters at SFNE, Lake Compounce, and Quassy and not feel too rushed at all. Boulder Dash and Bizarro (SFNE) are amazing but so is El Toro so you really should do both. Like Wood Dragon said, I would also pick the SFNE/Lake Compounce combo if you had to pick only one of the two.
  13. Sorry to bring up a somewhat older thread but... I got number 100 yesterday on Catwoman's Whip at SFNE. I guess it was a decent ride.
  14. 12/20. I'll look to do better next time. I guess...
  15. I don't know about. Delgrossos' Pizza is very, very good. I'd say it definitely beats Knoebels'. If I'm anywhere close to Delgrossos, I'll make sure to go out of my way to get a pizza from there.
  16. ^He probably means that CF is falling into the same trap that SF did when they built massive roller coasters every year, ultimately leading them to Chapter 11.
  17. Kozmo Knoebels' facebook has a picture of Kozmo's Kurves when it was set up for testing before being shipped to Knoebels. Apparently, the track is also supposed to arrive this week. Kozmo's Kurves set up for testing in the factory.
  18. Someone can take my spot. I can't find any really good pictures.
