  1. I was planning on visiting Canada's Wonderland for the first time on May 21. I just realized though that it is physics, science, and math day. Does anyone know how busy the park is on this day? Will I be able to get in all of the credits? Thanks
  2. ^^ A). Yes the seating is assigned. I can't answer B for you as I've never been on Goliath. The first turn is extremely intense thoughand caused me to grey out all six times I rode it.
  3. ^I'll keep my eyes open for them. Should be fun to meet up with them.
  4. This ride is fantastic. The speed and transitions are great with little to no head banging. The first turn is definitely intense and has caused me to grey out the four times I've ridden it. All in all this coaster definitely beats MF for me. The crew is doing a great job at making sure every seat is filled and getting the trains out quickly. I've yet to meet Robb though. I saw him in the exit line filming and then he disappeared. I'm sure I'll meet him soon enough.
  5. I'm at Kings Dominion now. I can't wait to ride this beast!
  6. This coaster looks absolutely insane. I can't wait to ride it tomorrow and hopefully meet up with some of the TPR gang.
  7. 10/20. I don't know much about flats. I did however know most of the ones I got right.
  8. I wouldn't mind meeting up to go to KD/BGE, however it would depend on when. My May schedule is quite busy though, so chances are it wouldn't work out. Let me know when and I'll see if I could meet up with you. I've only ever been to Kings Island alone. I had a great time and even got to experience the fun that is a torrential downpour that shuts down a park for a couple hours. Most of time I go to parks with my dad (who doesn't ride anything that goes upside down) and have to ride a majority of the rides by myself anyways. I still am able to have a great time though.
  9. I'll be there on the third. I guess I'll miss out on a bag of crap. Oh, well. Riding Intimidator 305 should make up for it.
  10. Do you know the other people who won? I am at school and can't check my email or facebook? I doubt I won but am just wondering.
  11. Here's a picture of the actual model. It was in my newspaper today.

  14. Bought one! Thanks so much Robb! I appreciate this great deal along with everything else you do.
  15. Saw it! Did it! I'm so excited to sign up! From what I can see and what I know TPR is capable of, this is going to be a totally awesome club!
  16. Six Flags also posted a link on their Twitter page wanting people to vote for Bizarro. They even gave $10 iTunes cards to some people who re tweeted their message.
  17. Here's what I have planned for this year: Major Parks: Kings Dominion- April 3rd Six Flags America (Season Pass Processing) Hersheypark (Physics Day trip) Canada's Wonderland Cedar Point Six Flags Great Adventure (Senior Class Trip) Indiana Beach Six Flags Great America Michigan's Adventure Carowinds Six Flags Over Georgia Dollywood La Ronde Knoebels Dorney Park Quick Credit Parks in New Jersey: Bowcraft Playland, Keansburg Amusement Park, Jekinson's Boardwalk, Funtown Pier, Blackbeard's Cave, Fantasy Island Amusement Park, Steel Pier, Playland's Castaway Cove, Gillian's Wonderland Pier, Morey's Piers, Casino Pier, Gillian's Funland Should be a fun year!
  18. Here's mine: Steel: 132 Wooden: 166 Total: 298 It helps when you've ridden 4 of the top 5 wooden roller coasters.
  19. How do you get involved with this internship? I'll be attending Penn State University for Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in structural next year and this would definitely be something I would be interested in when the time for interning comes. Working for Great Coasters is my dream job, especially since its located in the same town that I go to high school in. I wish that as a high school student I could hang around and job shadow the people at Great Coasters but that is probably hoping for a little too much,
  20. Hmmm... Well my personal preference would be Boulder Dash for #300. However, if you have the chance to ride it at night, I think that would be the better option, no matter what number credit it is. When I did this trip last year, my 100th coaster ended up being Catwoman's Whip. I guess I didn't plan that one too well.
  21. ^I don't get it. You have to read the Mitch Hawker's Coaster Poll thread to understand.
  22. ^^This is a very possible solution. I did all three of these in one day last July and had no problem getting all the credits. Just for reference I did the parks in the order of SFNE, Quassy, and then Lake Compounce. LC has an evening discount so it worked out perfectly. EDIT: ^ Just a heads up, Lake Compounce closes at 8 in the latter half of June next year. This will allow you very little night time rides. They close at 8 next year Monday-Thursday, 9 on Friday, and 10 on Saturday in the months of July and August. A Friday or Saturday night in July or August would allow you more night time rides.
