  1. Without a doubt that is a LMAO because... Yikes - that is sort of more a constipation smiley perhaps ? (scary whatever way you look at it)
  2. with you 100% on the rocking ferris wheel issue. The design though looks 'London Eye' - and the cabs on that are 'static' - there is absolutely no sensation of rocking (mainly well...'cause you don't) but fantastic views and just the feeling of rising up high in a very slow moving elevator. Actually- it moves so slow you don't even get that feeling - things just start getting smaller and you can see further. Well worth at least one go
  3. House No.4 -but paint the front door the same as that at No.6 (oh and see if you can lift a few of the plants at No.6 for your garden at No.4) BTW very nice flooring at No.4 8)
  4. Wise man. awaiting Lou's comments with interest however
  5. Best trains I think are the scaled down steam and electric trains at Lakeside. Although the ride around the lake is a bit boring during the day, the view of the park at night is great. For ride itself I guess I will go with Knoebels through the woods.
  6. is that No to just ^ or all of the above mentioned so far ? as I was also going to say Ghost Rider which may not have an official No just yet, it coming between Robbs no to none of the above to your no Steve- hope I didn't make that too confusing-C
  7. yep - has to be a Nemesis vote from me too. More especially because of the use of the natural terrain, carved into the rockface and sunk real low, like nothing I have seen elsewhere
  8. I was thinking the same thing as you Chrissie and looked it up earlier. It is the day when all the retailers who have been running at a loss during their financial year start making profits so the figures go from red to black ! - I thought it was something ominous and spooky but it turns out it isn't. FYI there is a growing trend to rename it Green Friday (Green is the new black then?) as that sounds more 'friendly' doubt that will happen. Oh yes - and a final FYI - the first Monday after thanksgiving is getting the name Cyber Monday Steve- OFI Sunday - C
  9. Thanks for thinking of us too and we'll all be thinking of you for sure, having fun and eating way too much. Roll on the Christmas Turkey (and stuffing, sprouts, carrots, peas, ham, bread sauce, swede, turnip, cabbage, cauliflower, mashed potato, roast potato, chipolatas, gravy and pudding ) Here in the UK, we can share your celebrations with our all new 24 hour drink licensing laws starting at midnight tonight
  10. slugs and cockroaches
  11. Orange!
  12. Oh NO ! - don't do a Brad and Jen !!!! - give da man what he wants goddammit -Him being older - he'll be long dead and you'll still be riding coasters. can you imagine a poll saying should Robb knock up Elissa ? - hell's teeth I think you need to lock this thread down quick- and no-one open that poll for goodness sake!!!!
  13. LMAO- if ever there is a 'jealous' statement, from whoever originally said the smelly guy bit- that must be it. Beeyotch as they say!! (or is it Beeatch?)
  14. well Mrs A - although everyone is planning your life and you have generously responded in kind...it seems to me that Papa Alvey has remained studiously absent from opinion on this thread- maybe he overlooked this one (head trying to fit in the hotel room safe pic springs to mind!!) Steve- THE PRESSURE - back off will ya-C
  15. A pay rise don't think family and friends are going to help out on that one though! Socks are always good - and I'm guaranteed never to be disappointed
  16. well AT is probably the quietest theme park on the planet anyway - really! It is packed into so much woodland you will be surprised (for anyone who hasn't been there) -you almost have to be on top of any ride before you even here it, so, fireworks aside AT can probably live with it. The Ropers are quite famous in the UK (notorious in coaster circles) for their arrogant stance, but hey - they won't live for ever and the park will go on Steve - that is NOT a death threat -C
  17. Well as you asked - I reckon you should get an education first then get a life.
  18. Perfect timing to get your Royalties bid in - you can make a class action with Chris Sawyer in his current case against Atari ! - unless of course Chris designed the cover, in which case Steve- litigation is BAD -C
  19. I hate all of the above with the expection of Nicole-I wish-Kidman
  20. ^well, back in '76 during the "Winter of Discontent"......I wont go on Steve - I win-C
  21. arrived today -Hurrah. We have been having a bit of an Indian summer over here but it ended today, so the hoodie was perfect timing. I will be wearing it tomorrow night for the UK fireworks night. Officially known as Guy Fawkes night, (a bloke who wanted to blow up the Houses of Parliament way back) which I will be celebrating in a small town called Battle, where William the Conqueror kicked our ass big time and King Harold took one in the eye! (an arrow that is) I was especially delighted that the package also arrived 'Sorenesque' i.e. complete with complimentary hair (measured 17.5 inches) AND a thin stip of paper in the hood (5.5 inches) Thanks TPR - its the personal touch that really makes your site happen and long may it continue. SteveC
  22. Hey - Nice blue guitar!
  23. A true classic indeed - and certainly verbally pungent if not physically, although I doubt you would have the one without the other. Although I don't mean in this case you, Lou Steve - All clear? - C By the way - I'm sure you can have a lot of fun 'brooming' - you could even think up places to stick it, although it might be wise not to follow though (in every sense of the phrase)
  24. 45% Yankee. Being from the UK the Q's were pretty straightforward apart from No.17 Exactly how much toilet paper throwing goes on over there? :? and why? Steve- very confused this Q would make a poll-C
