  1. ^ I think what he meant is you are WAY underestimating one of the top 5 parks in the country there Boom. Almost like calling Knoebels a stupid carnival in the woods. Forget what you know about Morgan Hypers, PR is probably one of the most unique/only terrain hypers your gonna find anywhere. And Jack Rabbit has what I consider the sweetest/most insane moment of airtime on any coaster anywhere! Add up the flats and darkrides that are only found at Kennywood and you'll see why most of us hold it in such high reguard. ...or you can just order my DVD this year and see for yourself!! -Jeezus "Plug" Juice
  2. My work filter won't let me watch your video so I'll have to wait until monday. We will be up in sacramento 4th of july weekend though so I gotta ask, are adults allowed to ride? We're also checking out Sunsplash waterpark so no, we're not just going somewhere to ride a kiddie coaster. We'd never do that Also they don't have a website (either park actually) so do you have any info as to cost/operating hours for these 2 places? Thanks my Sacto Homie, -Don
  3. Also "Do U Like Jack Rabbit" on your poll page may not be phrased correctly. I appreciate your entusiasim, but it's kinda like trying to save Spagetti Station. "U" could, but why? Jeezus" No one cried when J's Mad Mouse died" Juice
  4. Just show it at the turnstyles! None of that Cedar Fair "Do I go to guest relations, sign in at the gate, or wait by the dumpsters" confusion! Hope that helps, Don
  5. I just got back to work so I felt I'd add a little here. Lake Compounce was one of the best parks on out New England trip. It's all about the claustrophobic red lighthouse slide. I almost got a panic attack the first time it was so cool! Also I friggen love those water play structures. Most parks won't let me play on their cargo nets. I can't believe how cool Boulderdash was. It's like they tried to find the most difficult place in the park to build a wooden coaster, and stuck it up into the hillside. The pace it keeps is unreal, it had me thinking "What Legend?" at the end. Oh, and you forgot to mention the two best rides at SFNE we went on: The Sky Balls and Great Chase! Too bad we couldn't try out Typhoon, I guess I'll just have to try the one at Holiday World next season (oops, did I let that out?!) The pizza at that "nazi" restauraunt was pretty damn good. -Don "Loves Connecticut now!" Garrison
  6. From the article the locals sound like a buch of drunks anyway! -Don "Seriously, read it" Garrison PS. I guess this means we know what knoebels is getting next year
  7. All night rave at Typhoon Lagoon! I just might go gay for that! I almost actually bought a ticket for Gay Day at disneyland just so I could stay in the park after hours and go into the former "Festival of Fools" area. From what I remember the tickets were resonably priced. Oh wes, a fag is a cigarette dude. -Don

  9. Or in the caboose of the Disneyland Railroad. Jeezus "Twice" Juice
  10. Kissing is fine, deep throating is a no-no, check. What are the other guidelines for being the gay? Are hands in back pockets of daisy dukes all right or is that just on tuesdays? You mentioned gay americans but what about gay asians? I don't read "Out" very much so I'm not abrest of current eitiquette. -Don "inquisitive, but definately not curious"
  11. Maybe, I'm honestly not sure. I can't say that it's unlikely, but I'm not aware of any. Pending litigation aside, I dont know what your church is telling you, but there are many gay couples with children. I used to date this girl with two dads. The girl-dad was pretty damn funny. -Don "Captain Tolerence"
  12. Right, just who do these people think they are. Assembling in a public place trying to legitimatize who they are. And what about the children!? the little snot nosed angels. Why do these people feel they should be treated like everyone else?! Lets all put on sheets and protest!!!11 Come on people, hate gays because your a bigot, not because of what you think they do to children. It's not like they're witches or something. -Don "The Gay Avenger" Denver
  13. I'd just like to sat that I did submit a SFOG video as well as mt USF one. I agree about the same angles available at IOA. The same ones showed up in my IOA vid as well. It was pretty much, "Heres that shot of Dragons everyone has-chack, oh heres that shot of hulk from across the lake-check." Pretty much anybody can walk around the park and produce the same video that everybody else has. I try to up the insanity in these cases to make my stuff stand out. -Don "I liked the SFOG video better, but I'm not a judge! " Garrison
  14. Suh-weet, I've been chosen! And yes that is Mr. Slim-Jim himself "Macho Man" Randy Savage calling out Hulk Hogan on my video. Oh-YEAH!!! I'm feeling you on the jet lag Robb, we took a late flight in Friday and I had to work a double-double sat and sun. 16 hour shifts kill with no sleep. Thank god there is a couch in the breakroom! ShieKra was sooo worth it though. I'm going to check out the rest of the videos tomorrow. I'm still beat from last weekend. -Don
  15. Nice pics, that park looks awesome! They have my favorite type of mat racers! I first tried these at PKI and I like them more than the standard type that Holiday word and blizzard Beach have. Damn, Skull Island is huge! I really like these water play structures and this one is the largest. I have a question about the bowl slides. Are they body or tube? Also, how do you exit the bowl? The ones I'm familier with are the ones found at Wet 'n' Wild parks where you drop out of the middle. These look to end with an enclosed tube to the pool. Way to prove your the best 'Great America' park! -Don "Stupid PGA!"
  16. I just went to this park on monday for my first time. Wow, I don't know why people were hating on this park. I thought it was awesome. Since we were going to Wild Adventures on tuesday we bought the cheap season pass. I think that for what it is, a ride and botannical park, the place is amazing. Instead of going on and on I'll just list the things that impressed me: 1. Vekoma Flying Island! I've always wanted to ride one of these. 2. Disk-O Dude this ride awesome. 3. M&V Woodie again, great for what it is, alot better than the POV lead me to believe. 4.Spinning raft. 4th one of these I've been to but the only one I've ridden. No wait! And spun alot more than I would have thought. 5. Natures way "Swamp Walk" Nicely built deck on the shores of the lake. Add to this 2 new coasters and a free waterpark coming soon! Plus no lines and great operations and ops that let you film on basically any ride you want. I love this park. Wild Adventures was the bomb too. I alway thought it would just be a "credit stop" but I actually had more fun than I do at Animal Kingdom. -Note to Disney- Add a waterpark to Animal Kingdom and have the train be interesting.
  17. How many days did you go for? Sometimes ride are a crap shoot, you just have to throw the dice and see what you get. I went to the Point for 3 days opening week and got my fill of Dragster rides with waits in the station for the first two days. Our last day both Dragster and Millie were down with different problems. What else would they put there? A fourth antique car ride? Dragster is fun, somewhat tempermental, and a big draw for the park. I can feel for your dissapointment however as I've met with it in the past ::cough Hypersonic cough:: I'm going out to ride KA in two weeks. In addition to SFGAdv however were also going to Dorney, Wildwood, SFNE, and Lake Comp among others so if Ka isn't up when were there then I guess that means more time on S:ROS. We've also left some time available to return to Gadv should we need to. If we are able to ride Ka right away, maybe we'll go to Knoebels that day. You can only do so much before it's ultimately left up to the coaster gods to decide. Here is some perspective for you, I've been a SFMM passholder for the last 4 years and there are still 3 coasters there that, through no fault of my own, I have NEVER ridden. My advice is to try the park again next year when they open their dueling flyers and try again. After all, what are the chances that lightning will strike twice? Don "Stupid Hypersonic" Dynamite
  18. I rode twice last week with my camera but decided not to film a POV. Mostly because after waiting 90 mins I just wanted to enjoy my ride instead of focusing on stealth ninja camera skills. The web filter at work won't let me watch your vid so I'll have to wait untill I get back home. OT, SheiKra was my #400! Woot!
  19. Magnum kills my legs every time I ride it. Someone needs to push it in the lake. It's like somebody designed it using Excitebike on the NES. /-\___/-\___ Thanks for the TR. -Don
  20. I joined the Southern California Coaster Club. I'm still waiting for my tote bag. -JJJ
  21. Monster Plantation, uggg, it's worse than IASW! oh, and ICP's "I stuck her with my wang" is pretty catchy too. -Deezy
  22. I have a copy of Chef Mayhems' Disneyland Extinct Attractions video. It even has on ride of the rocket rods plus tons of old commercials like Circus Fantasy '88 and County Fair Days. And some people don't believe me when I say that Disneyland use to have a ferris wheel. I was thinking of putting it on DVD and making it available because obviously doombuggies.com doesen't seem to offer it anymore. Jeezus "In '91 Disneyland admission was $23!" Juice
  23. Why does ProSlide feel the need to alway take the fun out of waterslides? I was shocked when I went on the slides at PGA's Boomerang Bay. Instead of a fun and refreshing pool of water at the end it's just this doormat material you skid to a stop on. Kinda like if you went too fast on your slip and slide and slid onto the sidewalk. I actually almost got wet. The last thing you want to do to a fat guy at a water park is remove his splashdown pool, or eat his hot dog. -Jeezus "theres always someone fatter than me" Juice

    DVD-Rs

I'm finding that DVD-R+ discs seem to be hit or miss. I think I just got into a batch of cheap ones that I'm having trouble playing. They seem to work (barely) with my XBOX but not in any of the DVD players I've tried, although they'll play in my computers perfectly. Last year I used K-hypermedia DVD-R+'s and they seemed to work just fine. Which do you guys use as I've yet to have a problem with your discs in any of the players I've used. Thanks, Don "Stupid technology" Garrison
