Thanks for all your help guys. I've been somewhat out of the Disney loop lately chasing credits all over the country. I hoping to take advantage of resort guest privileges next time for EE. This trip is more down and dirty with us hitting BGT, Cypress, Wild Adventures, WDW, and Uni/IOA plus flying in and out in 5 days. I'm glad that the MK is open late this week so we have some time at the end to hang out in the park after dark. Hopefully most of the resort guests wait untill closer to 11 before decending on the park. -Don

^ yes but this is not the morning EMH (formerly 'Magic Mornings') but the new program similer to the E-Ride nights they used to have. I know for the E-Ride nights you'd purchase a wristband and the queues would close to day guest at closing time. However, the new program is for resort guests only and operates on select nights at selected parks. My question is if it works like early entry where the selected time is outside of normal park hours or not. I've already checked the WDW site and mousesavers and I'm off to check mouseplanets WDW info as they are usually on top of these things. I just don't want to go on the only day of the week that the Magic Kingdom closes early. I'm doing all 4 parks in the same day and I need those extra hours! -Jooze

I heard that Six Flags, in conjuction with the Glactic Empire, are constructing a new Vekoma Death Star (called 'T3') to target and destroy Cedar Point once and for all. Take that those of you who say that even though SF and CF are in different markets which cater to the public, which has now idea the other exists, are in direct competition. The published hours for the park this week are 9-11pm. Wednesday however has "extra magic hours". Does this mean that the park will be open extra hours in addition to the published closing time or do they kick out day guests a few hours early? I'm not a resort guest and I want to stay untill 11 but I'm not familiar with this system. If they do limit day guests I can go a different day, but wed would be the most convienent. thanks, Don

I was there that day too. Luckily it was the last of our 3 day trip to the Point. I froze my ass off while waiting for Wicked Twister (which was actually running, high winds be damned!) Stupid cold fronts, even Gemini was down. Midwest weather really is strange. It was almost too hot for shorts and a t-shirt the day before. I thought I was the only person from NorCal there that day. We really have to work on our communication skills. At least I was able to get Xclereator POV in the Disaster Transport bathrooms (wait for the DVD). No word yet on if the LCDs will be returning. Hopefully the effects will be better, although it will be hard to top the SSL tattoo effect. How DID they do that? 397 I'm still hovering under 400 due to Wild Adventures being closed because of rain. I'll get one more at Kennywood next week, then up over 400 in Florida in two weeks. With my luck I'll be just under 500 at the end of this year. On the PGA things: - Their are several plans for new Paramount coasters. It seems that PGA hates them all however. There is a "Pineapple under the sea" rumor floating around though - Another "Garden of lost Footers" - No - Apperently Triple Play (Troika) is now gone. - Because PGA hates us. Dollywood - I hope not, and don't really see why as the other HFP GCI is older and still kicking ass. - I don't know but TT is an awesome ride - I know they removed their old log flume. Prolly someothers as well. They got about 10 new rides including the worlds first "Sir Willow" coaster. Other - On certain Flyer models, particularly old Larson Flying Scooters, the cable stay assembly is built in such a way that under certain conditions the rider can pilot their tub low and inside and produce slack in the cable. When the tub moves to the out side the tension is restored all at once and shoots the tub and rider very forcefully high and outside. The only 2 "good flyers" I know of are at Knobels and PCWinds. - 3 Topples are going in this year. They look fun but don't seem very marketable as "Extreme Thrill Machines" so I wouldn't expect Paramount or the Point to get one. Perhaps someone like Hershey would be interested? I don't know the cost but I would venture a guess in the 3-6 million dollar range. - PKD I believe but Giant Drop was the tallest drop ride when it opened. I don't follow drop rides that well but I also believe that Knotts took the title away from the GD by a few feet of flagpole. IMHO Tower of Power is the overall best (SFOT). Hope that helps! -Don

For our Branson trip in june in order to go to WOnsF I'd have to take a late flight and get home at around 11pm. The only other flight that day is at 10am. Needless to say I took the early flight! Really, the park is fun I guess but what the hell would I do there all day?! I'm dead serious about checking out that Jeepers instead. Because really, what is the point of a hyper coaster with 6 bunnyhills in a row if your only going to crawl over them? That's cool that you got the SDC hook-up. Looks like they've decided to use the grass they installed for a picnic rental facility.
