I personally think the raft ride would look better if more of the ride wasn't covered by roofing, I really like the ideas youve put here though, very nice!

The log flume's after drop run is a bit short... but other than that I like this!

I hope to one day work in the fields of maintenance and engineering in a theme park, does anyone knowwhat steps I should take as a sophmore in high school to be able to work in this field?

Thanks guys this helps a lot. Yeah i think i'll try talking to some of the heads of my home park Elitch Gardens, and I plan on working there possibly this summer so that should be good experience.

I dunno people, the whole renovation thing seems weird to me. Texas Giant ain't a woodie anymore, but I think it might've been better that way , and i haven't ridden the new one yet... I'm just paranoid that the awesomeness of wood coasters will become extinct from this steel tracking man. Why take the wood from a woodie?! Ride a steel coaster for steel, if you want a classic and fun bumpy ride then ride a wood coaster. I just don't know anymore...

I've been looking all around the internet for information on this stuff, and I thought it would be a good idea to get some input on here as well. I, obviously, hope to one day after graduating college getting a career in a theme park, (Busch Gardens to be specific). I'm really good at math and science, so naturally I hope to work in an areas of engineering and mechanics. I've been most interested in being a park engineer or maybe the head of a park maintenance team. So I want to ask, how much do these jobs make, what classes should i take in college for this type of stuff, and does a park engineer design the roller coasters for the park? I really hope to help in the area of designing/maintaining the coasters. Thanks peoples

Holy trombones in a pogo-stick factory! (If you know this reference, good for you) very very nice, I love the detail in your rides!. To be honest I think Alien might look better if you changed the track to a Premier Rides LIM Coaster style.

Heh, the whole time I was looking at the ride's theming, I was thinking about how it reminded me of the theming of this ride some made on No Limits called "Tesla". Then I looked up at the name of the poster, and it turned that the dude who gave us all these pics was the one that made that very ride! Small world... or something... by the way very nice job on this and your track Loefet.

An elevator thing? Holy crap that's awesome! I've always thought those lifts were actually kinda fun. If only it worked.
