  1. Egad so many K's! And all the neon lighting, it makes me think of the klassyness of a night club!
  2. Rather juvenile to diss on the kiddie rides I think. Remember, families are the best income base to have so these additions are pretty solid for their bottom line. As we always say, not every addition has to be aimed at thrill seekers. HFEC always does well with their new ride additions. When they bought the Stinger (Wisdom Tornado) for CC, it was indeed an old rusty fair ride, but they cleaned and refurbished it so well that when it opened you would swear it was a brand new ride. These might be new though, I don't know of anyone selling a Zamperla rock-in-tug used, unless there was one left over from Cypress Gardens. Good to see them buy a Tantrum. I hope it gets them to put them in other parks soon as well. Its not that I have a problem with the park getting new kiddie rides, there's nothing wrong with trying to appeal to a younger crowd, I just think that it would have been better to invest in a ride that would appeal to a wider audience is all. Such as a Vekoma Roller Skater perhaps would have had a wider audience range, or maybe a Zamperla Motocoaster, which while it wouldn't appeal to toddlers and kids under 7, it still would appeal to both families and local thrillseekers, which in my opinion would have been a better investment. And anyway, I was only ranting in my last post because of my disappointment in not having something really cool for my home theme park for 4 years, and even though Tube Top looks pretty cool, I am still kind of jealous from seeing so many other parks in the country getting really cool, new and exciting rides. That's understandable, right?
  3. Check this out. http://elitchgardens.com/2012/03/06/new-at-elitch-gardens-in-2012/ We get a ProSlide Tantrum (not bad) , and two outdated, crappy looking, probably from a carnival kiddie rides. The slide looks pretty fun, the rest is just disappointing. I was expecting at least a little better than this, thanks Elitches...
  4. A question from Yahoo Answers, it made me laugh! http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20111029045303AACx2nZ
  5. All these pictures and videos of this thing really makes me wish I still lived in San Diego
  6. We have, we have especially with that piece of crap Twister II, what new rides are coming to Darien Lake anyway? Since like said above the two parks are owned by the same company...
  7. Oh thank god we're finally getting a new ride here! Any hints on what the rides are? I'm praying for something good! And even though its unlikely, im still crossing my fingers for a new coaster

  14. They changed the tram tour too?! Dammit they wrecked my childhood ! I used to live 15 minutes away from this place and would go with my family all the time. Why did they take out the monorail and put in these things?
  15. That first little drop looks like it has a really, really painful jerk in it. Yeah I know I've been trying to smooth it out but am having a lot of trouble with it for some reason.
  16. Starting a new project finally! A themed Eurofighter... This is it so far... Little over-bank thingy... And some good ol' twisted sexiness!
  17. Pretty interesting looking seating on this thing, I actually somehow thought that it was going to have basically the same type of trains/cars/seats as the ones on B&M Wingriders. I'm also kinda surprised that this thing doesn't have any inversions. but anyhoo I can't wait to ride this thing this summer! And i kinda wish it did go as high as that art shows
  18. I like it already! Really nice work on the supports, very clean. Can't wait for more!
  19. The first ones I've ever gone on were little ones at the Del Mar Fair back in California. But the first one at a theme park would have either been Woodstock Express or Taxi Jam (both a CGA) but I would have been too young to remember any of it.
  20. Does anyone know exactly how many senators/representatives are on board with this whole thing? I'm hoping that not many are, since a very big percentage of Americans seem to be against it.
  21. ...a large flying pony with the head of Nicholas Cage and a Batman cape, warding off the TOGO coasters with its concerned facial expression of death! It then proceeded to fly downwards, next to Robb, and then...
  22. I really like this park, very creative and overall very well done! Not to mention the coaster designs look great. I still don't like Lady Gaga though
  23. Is there any way to create some sort of video effect for a ride that that performs like a ride event? I just need a big screen that plays a specific video segment when the train goes over a specific piece of track.
  24. Well then what about the floorless Suspended Coaster cars?
