  1. It needs SO much attention! The other parks are already pretty well off and somewhat renowned, why cant my hometown park be renowned too???
  2. Aquatrax. Thanks for sharing this good report with us! If that we're true, I think I would...
  3. At Cedar Point, in the front seat of Mean Streak Guy sitting next to me: Oh this coaster is wooden, it shouldn't be too bad at all!
  4. I just want to say firsthand that this is MY FIRST real trip report ever, my first would have been of my Kings Island and Cedar Point trip but I had forgotten my camera on that big trip and could only took bad pictures with a couple disposable cameras (I might post those pics anyway though) but the point I'm trying to make is that you shouldn't expect anything incredible. But back on topic! So yesterday my girlfriend and I got to go to Elitches for Coldwell Bank's annual rent out of the park (her mom works for them). The park was actually only open from 4 to 10, but due to the lack of lines it wasn't any real problem. The weather was also pretty okay for the day as well until it started raining around 9. But who is actually reading this anyway? Lets get to the pictures! Duly noted.. I will steal your money and eat your babies!!! The other, other white meat!!! First off, my favorite coaster in the park, Sidewinder! Even if the station is really ghetto, I really like it! I don't know why though... And since hardly anyone was in line at the time they let riders have some ERT if they wanted. Here's the area where The Flying Coaster used to be, from Sidewinder's station. But... Are these new footers? (Seriously I can't tell ) And does anyone know what these cars and machines may be for? Such as these? And this? Another pic of Sidewinder before we move on... The Tower of Doom, one of my favorite free-fall towers I've ever been on. I actually got stuck on the ride for about 5 minutes while it was at the top of the tower due to high winds. While the kids next to me got freaked out I just sang some Avenged Sevenfold songs to myself. It was fun! FIRE!!! Next was Halfpipe, the giant "U", and it was my girlfriend's first time on it. She liked it, because everyone loves Intamin! And giant snowboards! I didn't get any pictures for Twister II, because honestly I just hate that coaster. No good G's no airtime no anything, all it is is really freakin bumpy. But I rode it to make the GF happy, and stumbled upon something curious near the parks crapyard. Any speculations on what exactly this is? The Yard o' Crap also had gallows! To hang the non-believers! After being disappointed by Twister II, as usual, we decided to head over to the Boomerang. Boomerangs may be kinda painful and the most un-rare coaster of all time, but they have damn good photo ops! See? Le Loop Le Other Loop The ride ops we're really cool too, and the main one even did impressions! One of them being a really good Charlie Sheen... Duh winning! Next was the Concussion Maker! I mean Mind Eraser! I've been on Mind Eraser before and I know about its painful legacy, but every time I come to Elitches, I just have to ride it! I have no idea why! I think it's because I'm trying to figure out how to ride it without breaking your neck (it's probably impossible). Or for the great photo opportunities... Ghost Blasters! But whats this in the professors pocket? Yes, toothbrushes! Why? Who knows! Who cares! After this we pretty much made did the same thing again around the park, but with a few more flat rides included. It got windy and rainy pretty quick as well, and everything was actually shut down by 9. But overall, it was a pretty good trip I would say! Sorry for the lack of pictures (We did a lot more on this visit, like flat rides and other activities, that I didn't bother to take pics of) I actually didn't plan on making a TR of this, and my camera had hardly any battery left after all the pictures I took so I guess I probably couldn't have taken many more pictures anyway. So in all technicality, this is more like, only half of a TR . But I guess it is what it is, I'll make sure to get photos of everything next time! But before I finish this post, I shall give you... One of the most epic pictures I have ever taken! And PLEASE give me comments and such! I want to make sure my next TR doesn't suck
  5. Some snotty kid: Oh my god this ride wait is ten minutes?!?!? Thats ridiculous!!! Me: *eye roll*
  6. Alright since whoever won last still hasn't u0loaded a picture, I guess I will I'll give hints when needed...
  7. At Cedar Point in MF queue: Complaining lady (for the sake of the nerdy Portal 2 reference, I'll call her "Karla the Complainer"): Why does this ride have two stations, that's so inefficient! At Kings Island on Drop Tower: Me being nervous: Ah this is gonna be freakin terrifying! Random short chick with deep southern accent: putchyer man pants on!
  8. Aw I've always wanted to duel, using B&Ms and dragons! I don't know the coaster so well so, does it have new theming since the whole Harry Potter world thing came up? Because maybe the injuries were caused by that. I highly doubt that its the coaster, since the only two accidents on the ride happened after the new theming came in...
  9. Love the appearance and support work, but I think the trackwork and its G's are a little too intense. Probably just me though. Also the vertical launch does already exist, http://www.rcdb.com/3534.htm
  10. Ill take a spot on the last CS park that has spots left if that's okay
  11. No clue so I'll make a random guess! ! The Beast, Kings Island.
  12. Definitely something from one of the Disney Parks...
  13. The only reason i brought this up again was because of atari's facebook for the last month. The people have been asking about it and they are telling them " This page has heard a lot of stuff about the rollercoaster tycoon franchise and you guys are going to be very happy in your future." Sweet! And wait, RCT movie? What would something like that even be about? The adventure of some dude playing the game with his talking dog sidekick?
  14. Millennium Force last Saturday, first time in the frontmost car, it made me see stars
  15. Eh, depends on the tower for me. The only 2 drops towers I've been on that are intamin made are Elitch's Tower of Doom and Kings Island's Drop Zone. The Tower of Doom is better than an S&S any day, but the Drop Zone kinda sucked in my opinion. Are any of the other Gyro Drops any good cause like I said I've only been on one. And when is Elitches gonna get some good stuff? I want a frickin B&M! And a Blue Fall at SFMM? Yes.
  16. I was just there today for the first time! Loved the park and rides, really good places for picture taking too. And I was called "stupid Mr.flip-flop" and told to put on my "man pants" . If anyone does plan on using these, i recommend buying them on weekends only, since today was so uncrowded, (there were barely any rides on The Beast, Diamondback, Flight Deck and the Stunt Coaster, it was awesome). The 50 bucks is a little expensive, and since there are so many rides the crowd can spread out pretty easily, so personally I would only buy it on a really crowded day.
  17. ^ I'm probably wrong but, Expedition Everest, Disney's Animal Kingdom?
  18. Same thing here I used to live only 20 minutes from Legoland, Florida shall never reign supreme!
  19. My word quite impressive! Good god...
  20. ^^ and ^, I like the building it looks pretty cool, and that coaster looks quite promising
  21. I hope Millennium Force's paint job is finished when I go there on the 22-23, can't wait, it'll be my first time goin to Cedar Point and Kings Island
  22. I can't find it, oh well someone else can give it a shot.
  23. ^ GAH! I can't find any 2 seated Pinfari coasters!
