Oh please so you guys are trying to say that people are just so stupid that they cannot tell the difference between a brand new 180+ foot tall, Intamin wood masterpiece http://rcdb.com/ig3183.htm?picture=6 From the 90 foot tall rotting condemed dilapidated POS that was there http://rcdb.com/ig27.htm?picture=3 is utter BULLSHT! and ridiculous If this is the case then what the hell are they wasting 10 million dollars on this re-birth of X if people are so stupid they are just going to think it's the same old X with a new paint scheme anyways. I just know if they can't seam to find a way to get an Intamin plug n play woodie in by 2010 then I'm with Wes pave the biotch!!! Because imo the last thing SFMM needs is another steel coaster, theres enough B&M crap to last a lifetime. Put some new blood into this park like some launched coasters, wood, drop tower/flat thrill rides. So 2009 is looking like a Tony Hawk/ or Batman Dark Knight coaster with Wiggles World 2010 ??? He says he like big drops and doesn't like to be inverted so my god please let it be, let it be, let it be EL Toro West Anyways great job, Rob (TPR)

Well from the test vid there will be plenty of air over that second hill. I know this is just the testing phase but the MCBR looks like it totally killed the rest of the ride. Anyways i'd give blood and organs lol to see a beauty like this in Psyclones spot at SFMM minus the MCBR please. -
Superman the Escape (SFMM) for first coaster/thrill ride to launch 100mph, first coaster/thrill ride to top 400+ feet , first coaster/thrill ride to use LSM/LIM technology

Thanks for the update, that bloodly red paint job is seriously kick ass. The trains look to me like the trains the ride should have opened with in the first place, beefy, industrial, naked cold steel, imtimidating alien looking monsters. I can't wait to try these new monsters out P.S. Rob ,Elissa please please please try to drop as many sutlte INTAMIN hints as you can. I don't care if the next coaster is 10 years off I want intamin drilled into there heads lol el toro el toro, T express, T express, Piraten super sized. Intamin gyro swings, gryo towers, mega flats, intamin also has dark/sim rides turn this into an intamin park and they'll have to fight the customers off lol...

What is the best way to make this trip? Should I leave out of ONT or LAX? I want to fly into New york, since SFGADv isn't my entire trip, so what would be the best airport to fly into? if you want to tour New york and hit up SFGADv in Jersey. Also any other tips you have to make this a good trip. After reading your TRs, the video and reading all the post about EL Toro I just can't wait another second to ride this beast, plus I've never been to the big apple, i'm off work, I might as well go for it while I have the time and the money. Anyways I want to catch a late flight out tonight so please respond as soon as you can Thanks

Hell I'll be a whore too if someone wants to pay me millions of dollars to use my name, i'm the whore you want I don't care if it's on a tampoon box endorsement slut i will be. I see nothing wrong with Tony Hawk i've always wanted to ride him anyways lol j/k he's a cool dude and a good role model to kids this is a family ride so it's works IMO. Now if they would of named it Lindsay Lohan's 4am drunken party whore The ride, or Kevin Federlines spend Brits money till your head spin The Ride then I'd have a few problems lol. Also about this being a clone or almost a clone give me a break it's a family ride, it's cheap, fun, and comming from a company 2+ billion in debt and looking to sell parks. Just be glad any park in the SF chain is getting anything even if it's a simi clone/or clone family coaster. Talking about hypers lol that's funny, there probably won't be anything MAJOR in the SF chain for a long time. There is people out there that want their 2+ billion dollars back.....like now! The era of building major coasters likes those wonderful B&Ms and Intamins on borrowed money is over for SF ok back to the Tony Hawk coaster, now that I think of it, why didn't they put in atleast one of those half pipe elements? That's one of the best elements on these coasters and they left it out. Also I hope those Tony Hawks that's in the layout pic above is not going to be actual cardboard cut outs on the ride like it shows in that picture, IMO that looks cheap and horrible lol.

But according to most enthusiast and especially those at that horrible site which names ends with an uzz this only happens at SFMM and like on a daily bases Anyways I hope there wasn't any innocent bystanders and if so my prayers go out to them. It's sad when you can't even go out and have fun without fear some idiot is packing a gun and feels trigger happy So now is Shapiro going to lable SFOG a thrill park low life teenage hangout and put it up for sale also? I've heard the real estate is pretty hot in that area too and they just built a brand new rollercoaster this all fits perfectly...sure Shapiro didn't set this up lol

The lift hill is *45 degrees with the drop being *65 degrees, the helix is suppose to max out at 4.5 g's but this is a B&M so I would say it's actually closer to 3.0 to 3.5 g max in the helix. No this is not the first sitdown coaster to feature a overbanked/horse shoe turn, it might be B&M's first i'm not 100% sure. Intamin is the main maker that I know of, of overbanked turns most all their coasters have them from sitdown to invert. I love the look of this coaster the only thing I'm having a major problem with is the net's everywhere, yet I know they have to be there for guest safety. I truly wish SFMM had this type of Goliath instead of the Goliath we do have, even if it had to be in the p-lot I would rather have this in the p-lot instead of Scream. I still happy with my SFMM Goliath but I can't wait to give SFOG Goliath a spin.

can't wait until I go! Is AC better than Goliath (sfmm)? Yes Is BBW better than Ninja (sfmm)? Yes Is Alpie better than Batman? yes Is Loch Ness better than Viper (sfmm) Yes Well these are just rumors but I too have heard B&M Dive Machine with three inversions and the second vertical drop is said to be over and through part of the station talk about a hell of a station fly through. The inversions are said to be the huge immelman, massive zero g roll and a huge corkscrew/flat spin. The first vertical drop is also said to be tunneled some 15 to 20 feet under ground, so if this is the case this sounds like it going to blow Sheikra away in every way imo.

La Ronde Discussion Thread

Is it just my computer or is the video stuttering? I've tried two different players and the video stutters like crazy to the point where it's unbearable to watch. -
Not saying the ride wont be great but I have just been totally pissed off by seeing that trim inbetween the Helix and the bunnyhop . Why does every one of they're hyper coasters have to have trims I thought B&M were suppose to be excellent designers yet they can't even design a hypercoaster without taming it. I just don't understand how they're loopers can go untamed but there hypers all have trims can anyone explain this to me. Anyways not trying to turn this into a B&M rant

A Few burn marks on a building outshines Mummy?????????? Ummm Have you been inside of the ride building to see the theming...umm NO ...So ride the coaster before you make a statement like that. "The video size is too small, I'll wait untill Robb posts one ( Full Screen)" Well it's better then nothing at all, beside Rob and E is in Asia not OZ so I guess your going to be waiting for a while Anyways looks like a great ride can't wait for your full review Rabid

I agree with PhishyBrewer, talk about spending millions of dollars on just anything lol For 6 million dollars i'd want a hell of alot more then that, heck they could of got an Intamin rocket like Speed Monster. TusenFryd is only paying 7.5 million euros and here Magic Springs is paying 6 mill for a big ugly circle IMO they got jipped big time.

CAMEL HUMP PULL THROUGH SUPERMAN
DonkeyBreath replied to rabid disney's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Nice update as usual, I have a question though well two At the end of the day do they pull the train off the track or do they just secure it to the track and start again the next day. Also isn't the opening next month in December?, if so has there been any type of announcement or do they plan on announcing it a week or two before the opening day. Anyways I can't wait to see video of this thing in action. -
