I got to ride this amazing coaster in summer of 2007 I thought it was closed I didn't see it cycling and the casino itself seamed pretty dead. Anyways I find the ticket booth, get my ticket to find out the ride is about to close like any second, I ran my ass off up to the station to find nothing but the ops in the station and their looking at me like what are you doing here? were closed! lol. They let me on anyway I have the whole ride to myself Great ride sweet launch blazing down the LV Strip Amazing the whole ride just seamed so unreal to me like it was all just a dream. Yet to let me know I wasn't dreaming once I returned to the station I was relaunched Thanks again to the Speed crew that night. I also didn't find ME at NYNY to be as bad as people made it out to be, it wasn't great, but it wasn't that bad imo either. Canyon Blaster was great imo I rode it over and over and was the coaster out of the three that suprised me the most. I'm thinking small arrow (ouch)coaster no big deal turns out imo there was no ouch and I loved it.

^^ Yes they would need the big crane to winch the train to the top of the lifthill ^The supports are like that because of the paths and buildings that are in the area -

Train is now out side looking sexy with water dummys, testing must be comming real soon Sexy and ready to strike:O)~ -
Looks rough! Lots of negatives! poor manta WTF!!! I'm not even going to to get started on this one lol, It's a B&M enough said rough doesn't fit into that equation. The splash is going to be created by those white pipes you see in the trench, the train WILL NOT! touch the water, it's just an effect. Thanks Rob great pics/update Manta looks amazing no negatives IMO, I'll be down there to ride this beauty while using my ticket I won from the universal heros contest

Wow you people are something else, nothing is ever good enough Atleast this coaster makes sense far as the type of coaster and the theme, it has a dark ride section, themed very nicely and has a very fun thrilling looking layout. You haven't even rode the damn thing yet and your let down wow good this is a pg-13 site cause I'd would describe how many different ways some of you should be put to death Look at SFMM Terminator, a wooody themed to terminator wtf and slap down on a concret pad and you guys are let down by Saw, I know Terminator isn't complete nor has any theme or lanscape been added but I know for sure if any theme or landscape is added it won't be as extensive as this Saw ride. I would be extremly onverjoyed if one of my local parks SFMM KBF got anything close to this, yet will get the coaster no theme or barely slapped in a parking lot. -
Yes I'm glad they brought Mr. Six back my little ones always would scream and dance when the Mr. Six commericals came on. They pay pretty much no attention to the new SF commericals with the asain dude, except when Tatsu comes on and they scream daddy daddy I want to get on that ride and my reply asusual is your to little for that one

What I've heard for SFMM 2010 is the park maybe close to woking with the company they're never suppose to be working with EVER! The teaser I got is, it's launched, it's fast, it's compact, it will not be an est coaster and to imagine something along the lines of launched megalite. a couple other cats I know said they heard it's a launched coaster too but didn't have details. So imo I think next year SFMM is getting the only type of coaster they lack in and thats a full circut launched coaster. I'm sure what ever kind of coaster SFMM is getting for 2010 it's already a done deal they usually plan these things a few years in advance. Also this could be another movie tie in deal with the 2010 WB release of The Flash.

Carowinds Discussion Thread
DonkeyBreath replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^The delayed 2009 project for CGA was/is a GCII wooden coaster. How is a 200+ foot ANYTHING! not going to impact the skyline? I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet for that socalled skyline ruining hyper because the rumor mill is saying 2010 Carrowinds opens White Lightning whichs is... dun dun dun a Relocated Led Zepplin Which I guess it doesn't matter what the 2010 project is b/c it's going to be bashed regardless what it is -
what the hell is going on here?almost all other 2009 projects are almost complete yets this one hasn't even went vertical, Has GCII strected themselves two thin with all of their 2009 projects?. Isn't this ride slated to open in may? that's what 4 months away this isn't a plug n play, can they actually pull this off in less then 4 months? I know Terminator isn't that huge of a coaster but it is a classic woodie in Cali, I'm hoping this isn't a rush job and Terminator ends up running crappy because the time wasn't taken to insure high quality work is being done.

Wow is all I can say and that's not in a good wow way either This looks like something that should be getting built at Castle park or Scandia ontario, not a major park like SFMM. They could have atleast pushed theI limits and went for 3500 feet atleast, I'm not asking for 300 feet at 90* degrees I just want some ride time, and not one of those ...is that it! type of rides. I was hoping that GCI would kind of break the mold since they were working with such a major world wide known park, yet this coaster looks lamer then any of their coasters to date IMO. This looks like something they designed 10 years ago, and imo looks like a total snooze fest. I was atleast expecting something like Troy yet we get something that should be installed at the county fair wow 10 million for this yet El Toro cost 12 SFMM might as well bought a wacky worm coaster and named that terminator. Dude your right this is as stupid as the time Peter forgot how to sit down I'm not even going to go on to much about the name and theme beside saying who ever was involved should be beaten to death and drugg behind a speeding car through the streets of Los Angeles . I guess I'll make this the 5th year that I haven't bought a season pass nor made a trip to that pathetic attemp at an amusement park named SFMM ...one of the one here that would rather see million dollar homes on that hillside instead of half assed mediocore rides in a garbage dump of a park oh well this is IMHO

Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread
DonkeyBreath replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If people still line up for 45 minutes or more to ride, rides like tidal wave at SFMM, then this monster that HW is building will have no problem packing people in line for many many years to come. It's not always about AIRTIME! This drop is still going to be very thrilling with that grab your gut feeling, while also still being ALL AGE friendly. I love the uniqueness of this ride the lift/tower looks wild and very unstable, the tilting platforms, the huge drop and wave of water great job IMO Holiday World. Also HW is still adding to this ride like the tunnel, bridge, squirting turkeys, maybe no squirting turkeys but wait until the ride is open and ride it before you complain about the drop sucking or no themeing. Intamin Intamin Intamin they never fail to impress... look at the sexy legs on that #$%@& may not have the best reputation but IMO has the best rides. Hmmmm do I smell a small airtime filled steel Intamin beauty comming HW way in the near future? whispers mega-lite in Paula's ear -

Well I thought these boards were here to get information, post news, pictures, TRs, comments/opinions. If there is a comment or an opinion you don't happen to like ...move on it's that simple Not everyone is going to like the ride I don't care who it's made by there is still someone that's not going to like something about it. I'm never said the ride was horrible since i haven't ridden it, nor did I say it's not going to bring people through KI gates i'm sure it will. I'm just not a fan of B&M AT ALL and IMO, MY OPINION, think that 22 million dollars is a bit much for a coaster as off the shelf and basic as this one. That's doesn't mean the ride won't be rideable, I just have more of a problem with the totall lack of creativity and 22 million dollars for something that's been done time and time again. Even though it's been said that B&M are just giving the parks what they ask for it still sucks IMO. It just seams like CF/B&M/KI, didn't even attemp to try to put in anything creative nor original into this project. Anyways I'm sure this will be a big hit for KI regardless what I think this is just my opinion that all that's it. -

I know i'm going to get heat for this... but 36 years in the making and this is the best they could come up with I see putting CF and B&M together equals BLAH! these two companies have not a creative bone in their bodies. Why in the hell are these parks spending 20+ million dollars on the same cookie cutter B&M Bullsh%$T, hell CF should of gotten this for atleast half price since it's nothing NEW to this ride . That's like a park paying 20+ million for pretty much a B:TR clone why? The theme/name is also lame Diamond back it took 36 years to come up with that?Hell Mustang would of been much better and atleast original heck the LSHOF would of been a much better name theme then Diamond Back, also what Diamond Back is red, yellow and cream colored, and splashes through water? CF should of really shown they're creative skills and just named the damn ride Hypercoaster My god where is Intamin when you need them? a megalite themed to a septic tank would be 10x better then this imo. Sorry but i'm just totally anti-B&M -
Looks like a fun little ride but extremely short, hopefully capacity wont be to big of a problem so you can get rerides. The scream shield/tunnel should be pretty cool, looks like Knotts has another cool fun family coaster to the line up. I wonder can they squeeze something like Piraten or fahrenheit in there for 2010?

SFMM lacks in the launched coaster department, they have S:TE but it's outdated, not really family friendly, or very thrilling imo. 2k9 could bring one of those awesome looking Gerstlauer launched coasters like Farup Lynet custom layout without inversions. Or S&S flying Eagle that looks like a thrilling coaster imo, the whole family can enjoy and very unique. Awhole new take on the spinning type coaster giving SFMM two coasters unlike any others in the entire US and World with the exception of EJ in Japan. I pray they're saving any SFMM wood for INTAMIN!!!

Tobu Zoo's New Coaster
DonkeyBreath replied to Airtime&Gravity's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
WOW just watching the vids give me chills, Man how i'd love one of these in my backyard. Knotts please for gods sake shoe horn this delicous twisted Intamin airtime machine into your park . -
How in the hell is a change of paint and new trains X2 a new coaster? But to build a new wooden coaster would come off to people as just being the same old psyclone is the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life. So this means SFMM could never build another wooden coaster because no matter where they put it people are so stupid they are going to think it's psyclone. So I guess if SFMM builds a drop tower people are going to pass it up thinking it's the Freefall they rode 10 years ago So I guess people that haven't been to SFSTL in a while/and or they're just so stupid is going to think Evil Knevil is the Boss. Why would parks like Holiday World and others have 2 and 3 wooden coasters if people are so stupid they cannot tell whats new and whats old, or whats the difference between the Raven and the legend I'm not to hot on the wiggles world thing either but the Tony Hawk and Batman Dark Knight type coasters I'm all for. These are the types of rides the park should have been adding, rides the entire family can enjoy Instead of parking lot POS like Scream. Yeah that Land of the giants area sounds great! I've dreaming of that for years, sounds much better then a wiggles world. Yet people might think it's the same rides that's been sitting there for 10 years and past them by so it's might be just a total waste of money lol
