Another update... "Maya's Flower Splash" (Zierer Flying Fish) It wouldn't be a Plopsa-park without some rides getting a catchy theme song: "Crazy Tree" (Zierer Kontiki) A giant bucket for kids to play around: New food stall: The park's new entrance, main street and central plaza: Lots of signs going up: Landscaping: Photos by HolidayPark & Holly-Info.

Will it be themed to Ice Age? Because along with Nick Land, that's the only movie theme in this "MoviePark". A new coaster is always nice, but I hope the park can secure some new movie licenses soon. It's not Heide-Park, it's not Hansa-Park, it's MoviePark.

I'm really not seeing it. It looks like the more of Leviathan to me, even if it is mirrored and the colors are a bit off to fit the general theme/color of the shirt. The shirt definitely shows Nitro, compare the lift, drop and especially the camelbacks to this photo: edit: They even included Batman's loop!

Looks fast enough to me too. Any faster and you're looking at exponentially increasing maintenance costs.

Is this the Walygator thread now ? Check out the current state of the park: http://www.looopings.nl/weblog/1243/Groeten-uit-Walygator-Parc.html I have never seen such a filthy park. Crumbling scenery, broken glass, rotting wood, closed rides, malfunctioning rides, etc.

Gotta fund all those rides with something. What do you prefer: $30 entrance fee, free parking, no fastpass small new ride every 5 years or $50 entrance fee, $15 parking, $30 fastpass big new ride every other season

Actually, I think it will be built in the empty spot between Jurassic Park and WaterWorld (top left): The Land of Oz area has been rethemed to Sesame Street for this season. Also, it would be a bit crazy to build the HUGE Forbidden Journey building right next to the park's entrance, when they have space in the back.

In Mitch's poll? I wouldn't be surprised. Definitely top 5. It's Kawasemi on steroids, and that one is 4th in the latest poll.

Next time you make fun of a kid sharing his ideas, remember that every single ride starts out with a simple sketch.

It is a pretty lousy map. The park really needs a new one. More inviting, with more details and more accurate rides. Storm Runner looks like a powered kiddie coaster on this one. map

Michael Jackson had visited the park many times, mostly after closing time and even during the winter months. He was good friends with the owners of the park and sometime in late 1995, during another visit, he was shown a model of a new ride that was under construction. They promised to name it "The Michael Jackson Thrill Ride", if he would open it himself the following season... which he did: That's the official story.
