Any Six Flags park with a Beemer should stay. Except SFNO. It's just totally destroyed and shouldn't be rebuilt. Wait, scratch that, all of New Orleans shouldn't be re-built. It's just going to get destroyed again by the next Hurricane.

Hopefully its a new Flat for the theme park. The park is lacking a wee bit in the thrill section besides their awesome coasters.

Well, I mean, usually most people check their restraints by themselves. If your restraint isn't locked, I'm sure the person would make some sort of scene and the ride would be stopped.

They sure have a lot to show for reducing their prices. They are also in a different market. Cedar Fair parks are regional theme parks. They are the ones truly competing with sporting events, movies, concerts, clubs, family fun centers, etc. Disney is competing with other vacation destinations like cruises, popular tourist cities, etc. They both price accordingly for their markets. Cedar Point (Not the rest of the Cedar Fair chain), is starting to try and target that BIG destination crowd. I've seen a Cedar Point commercial a few times here and Maryland. And I have multiple friends (Not enthusiasts) that have heard about Cedar Point, or have been.

That sucks, because they make some amazing rides.

I was at Cedar Point for 4 Days on Vacation. 400 for the hotel (For 4 people) the entire time. Plus it came with a package with 2 free tickets and 2 free night tickets. PLUS we get military discount so tickets are only 30 dollars for a regular day. It was WAY more affordable than Disney. PLUS we drove so it sorta cut down on cost (Gas was killing us (3.16 in DC Metro Area), luckily we have a hybrid so we only have to fill up once on the trip from MD to OH. And once on the way back) Anywho, my dad compared it to a Disney trip we took in 91 (I think?) and how Disney sucked the money out of us. Sure price's were less 15 years ago, but still, you catch my drift. AND i would prefer to go to CP than Disney. But hey, thats just me

Ha, they say on the site "See How Surprisingly Affordable the Fun can Be!" Psh, WDW is NOT surprisingly affordable. Its surprisingly expensive as $hit. The one reason we won't take a vacation to WDW or any Disney park (Except Tokyo, we happened to be in the neighborhood) is because it's too damn expensive. Isn't it like 65 dollars for one day. In one park? I'm sorry, but that is just to damn expensive. And not worth it considering your going to have to wait your ass off for rides. Sorry, Disney parks just aren't me, I like nice big thrills.

But I have to get back by the begining of sept, like the 3rd, for school :-/. If ya'll made Nagashima or Fuji-Q first then I would most def be able to meet up with ya'll. Seems that a lot of the rides that SFGAm got for the 04 season are broke. Revolution King Chaos Ok. Two. But those are the only thrill rides they got for 04.

I've been on it like Robb said, people on the site have. Honestly? Its a great ride. MF's first drop owns SD2000 but everything else about SD2000 owns MF. I never clung to MF like most people did. I think MF is overrated and to be honest, short. Sure the length of the track is 5000 feet, but really MF isn't all that exciting. Also the air I experienced on MF wasn't ejector, except the first drop. The air on SD2000 was ejector air. Minus the first drop, it was just kinda floater. And like someone said before, it kinda just happened. Other than that, I'm glad to see it re-opening because I'll be there next summer re-riding it with the exchange student! (look up my PKD visit in the TR archive). Along with EJ!

unfortuanatly nothing. But I did raise money back in 01 for making 600 dollars for Sept 11 with one lemonade stand.
