  1. That penis monster looks very Sid and Marty Kroft. Glad you're having fun over there, with the brownies I can totally understand why you were in chat at like 4am your time!
  2. I'm just thankful you guys didn't turn on the TV and a gangbang was on, otherwise this would have been a really disturbing PTR.
  3. Tonight I got a beer (thanks to Heath) to fill up my 22oz BrewWorks mug. Its one I've been hoping to try for a while, but didn't think I'd be able to get it for another month. Nice maltiness with some chocolate and cherry hints in there. Nice finish too with a little bit of hops. Can't wait to try another bottle in a year! Stone's 06-06-06 Vertical Epic!
  4. Looks really nice. Too bad that area is now about as popular as the Ghost Town in the Sky.
  5. ^I'd consider them more like kiddie coasters than powered. Nonalcoholic beers would be the powereds. Besides, Glutenfree is an official member of BACT, and the poor dude can't drink anything but cider. We'd hardly let anyone into BACT if they could only do powereds!
  6. Hopefully this park will also be opened next year when I'm out in NorCal in May. It may not be super awesome like Europa Park, but if its got some heritage, it should at least be a little neat.
  7. Hershey should get emptier as the night progresses on Friday. Unless there is rain, or its cold, the waterpark next door should suck a good portion of the crowd out of Dorney during the afternoon on Saturday, but expect things to pick up a little later once the sun starts to go down and the temperature drops.
  8. For future reference, NEVER trade a HopDevil for ANYTHING, not even sexual favors from Heidi Klum (well, ok, that may be the one exception)! Couldn't end the night of drinking at 7:30pm, so I tried the Saranac Belgian White when I got home. Probably the best of their beers so far that I've had! Not too sweet like the Belgian triples, but not as wheaty as the others. Nice flavor and overall enjoyment
  9. Dudes, best update EVER! I'll be sending you the bill for the pain my stomach was in from laughing so hard! Liseberg is definitely a park I'll try to get to as often as possible. Not that it will matter to Joe, he'll be too busy with his important job of filing papers! Instead, he gets vacation days to go ride Rolling Thunder.
  10. "The Diary of Jane"- Breaking Benjamin
  11. Usually people die from boredom while waiting for that coaster to dispatch after its 17 safety checks... Since it was a heart attack, it was probably an unknown condition (or the weak beer at the hospitality house sent him into arrest). Sucks that he died, but he could have had the attack anywhere, just as my dad did while driving 21 years ago.
  12. So, its a random Tuesday of the week in July. What a better time to catch up with Heath and Kim (or Keath and Him!) at Lancaster Brewing! Heath then went with the Hefe (as poor Kim sat beer-less enjoying a Pepsi and I didn't get any photos of her weak drink) I chose the regular Red Rose amber ale Then I was faced with a big decision, Cask conditioned Red Rose, or Regular... Heath did the same! And we talked coasters and whatnot and whathaveyou While I enjoyed a Hop Hog IPA... Hey here we are! Not but 30 minutes from home
  13. When you're going back to the airport, even if the airline you fly is in cooperation with them and you check your luggage at the hotel, you'll get on the bus by airline, and when you do, your carry on luggage gets placed under the bus in sections. For instance, if you're on Southwest, the driver will call "Southwest people" and you'll drop off your luggage in a pile and get on the bus. Then when you get to the airport and are at the Southwest drop off, you'll get off the bus and the driver will have all the Southwest luggage taken off there. Its a really easy service, except for the whole being ready to leave 3 hours before your flight, and then finding out 30 minutes later that your flight is delayed 4 hours but you're already on the way to the airport. The hardest part is reading the directions on how to get to your bus, over on the A terminal side of the Orlando International Airport.
  14. Elissa, you should really "watch your speed" otherwise LA's version of Rich (probably name Ricardo or Rico) may end up pulling you over and sending you to see the jury
  15. I hate those cows and the new Chocolate song. Reminds me too much of a gospel church song or something. The new scenes are pretty cool though, with the new product placement and more of a automated factory feel throughout the ride. At least it still smells like chocolate!
  16. Looks like you lucked out at least with the weather and the crowds, even though it was hot. I'd be annoyed too if 2 of the coasters were closed and you can't ride a coaster you can ride anywhere else in the world, except at Family Kingdom. Probably worth it though to see the Boomerang valleyed. Great investment and replacement for the Zinger, CF!
  17. Looks nice, Carlos. Someday I hope to get on a cruise, though I'm not ready for a real vacation just yet in life. Gimme another year or two of this insanity! Looks like you had some pretty nice weather too!
  18. Sounds kinda like my friend's girlfriend's daughter who lost her flip flop on Sheikra. Coincidentally, they sell flip flops in the gift shop. Hmmmm... If you had an exit pass for Sheikra, wouldn't you notice the approaching storms and not get in line until after they passed, seeing how you didn't have to wait??
  19. Wow, and Theme Park Review didn't even visit Lakeside this year! At least no one was hurt.
  20. Forgetting the Saranac theme for a bit, I want flavor! Ah, now that's hoppy! Lost Coast, I beckon you!
  21. I'm not a big fan of the flying coasters, but this one looks really nice. Here's to hoping I can get a visa sometime soon to go there! Oh, and Erik, is that the SAME jean jacket you're still wearing to this day!?
  22. Decided to start off with a Saranac Kolsch Ale tonight. It was an ok beer, not as good as Curve Ball by Pyramid though. I think I've determined something about Saranac, their beers aren't very carbonated, as so far they've all had more of a wine-like nature to them. A little bit of flavor, but not much fizz Another beer from the Adirondacks
  23. Front seat of Jack Rabbit at Seabreeze on Saturday around 12:30. Then we left so I could get beer.
  24. The last couple of years I've only gone a few weekends out of the "season" without riding anything. This season I've been to a park at least every 7 days since mid-March, and have no signs of stopping until November. Most impressive, of those park visits, only a hand full have been to my local parks.
  25. ^Well we already are planning on getting Nicole on at least another 10 new coasters this season, and don't count on catching her next year either, unless you're going to Japan. Even if all she does next year is stuff within driving distance of me, we're still around 30, and if we do some trips to Kings Dominion, Busch Euroburg, and Dollywood, we're more around 50 for her. Face it Johnson, unless you get out of Florida, you'll always have one of the lamest counts in the community
