US Trip Planning help needed
larrygator replied to mschisano's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I moved this into the main forum where it will get more feedback and coasterbill (among others) will let you know that you need to add Knoebels. To help everyone out. 1) Do you also plan to visit waterparks? 2) Are you amenable to purchasing Flash Pass, Fast Lane, QBot? -
Another Cedar Point trip report...guhhhh.

Gusty/windy coasters
larrygator replied to Samuel's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't think we need a thread for this topic. As coasterbill said, temperature and speed are the factors, along with an occasional object flying into y0ur eye. -

Need this in my life, thanks I would bet that Robb and Elissa are also making this a priority on their European trip. -

Hopefully, Robb will be able to share news about this when he returns from Europe. Mattias and Johan have always been great at utilizing Robb and TPR to promote their plans. -
Tivoli Gardens Discussion Thread
larrygator replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Chose Bakken as your amusement park and once your parents commit, subtlely let them know how beautiful the gardens are at Tivoli Gardens and how the dining is phenomenal and convince them they need to go there also. -

I lock the thread You go to the Continue the Story Thread -
Yes!!!! Happy to rename- for the 3 of us that may have any interest on this "topic!" Surprised it hasn't been ousted to the TPR grave yard..... The moderators must be asleep at the wheel or moderately amused, however the thread might be moved to the random forum in the future.

I never recommend going to SFGAdv on a Saturday if you have a choice between Saturday and Sunday. Unless the weather is rainy on Saturday, Sunday will be the better day. Don't worry about losing the 30 minutes at the end of the day, lines are much longer on Saturdays.

TPR's Ever Evolving Park Index

^Do you know if they removed a ride to put this in? I know it's a small footprint and it appears to go under one of the empty areas around Rattler, but just checking. -

This NY pizza snob agrees that Via Napoli pizza is awesome. -
The Panda Express at SFGAdv is the best one I've experienced at an amusement park. Clean, fully air conditioned, lots of variety in the food options. I know some of the park locations only offer a handful of entrees. SFGAdv offers most if not all of the full menu, including my favorites Honey Walnut Shrimp and Beijing Beef.

I called it! I also stand by my opinion from early April! You also said the coaster was not even worth the trouble!
