  1. many of the hotels with nicer pools ask to see your room key card when entering (I know it is that way at the Hard Rock) but some will let you in for a fee. I enjoy the Fremont Street Experience in old Vegas, but you can not walk there, way too far. You might consider a cab.
  2. looks like Flash was stuck working the Flash Pass building again today
  3. I went today from 5-7 just to get two rides in on El Toro. Operations are dramatically quicker this year. With only one train operation, dispatches were equal to last year with two trains. They moved the seating area for La Cocina so that the queue for El Toro would not run through the tables of people eating. Chiller:Robin was test launching through the spike and back when I left the park at 7:20PM. When I arrived at the park I was dismayed at the mess at the parking toll booths, but they finally got more people out front for the slew of people arriving around 5PM. I needed to get a coupon book (since I processed my pass in October) and the guy at processing give me the coupon book without even asking to see my pass. Nathan's fans don't despair - the Nathan's restaurant remains and Ball Park Franks will be at other stands/restaurants. A Cold Stone Creamery both appears ready to open soon. I bought a steak quesadilla at La Cocina and it much better than I expected, although the 3 international workers from Thailand were struggling a little too understand the hungry locals. Just wanted to add a couple of extra observations.
  4. After a couple of episodes to further the storyline we get this? While the show was amusing, I don't think it was necessary. This very well could have been a 40 minute bonus on the Season 3 DVD. The only thing interesting was that Nikki and Paulo knew about the Pearl station. Although it brings up a new question of how did Juliet and Ben get there. If there is a tunnel that connects this hatch to the barracks they should have shown some of the Losties trying to open a door and exploring the Pearl station.
  5. I was wondering what the next guest thought of my little prank. James, I wish I had known you were the victim earlier.
  6. changes allow the non-UKers that were on the UK Trip the ability to vote on 5 International matchups versus 2 International matchups. So that's good in my opinion. 5>2>Buffalo I filled in my votes, but was not qualified for 4 match-ups.
  7. ^^^working in Advertising I can tell you that the Networks love when people watch their shows. You should send a polite and legible e-mail to Discovery and Travel Channel. I'm fairly certain there is an otpion to e-mail them from their websites.
  8. I would hold off on SFGAdv until you have more time and money as there are quite a few parks/coasters close by. When I drive that many hours I like to hit a few parks. Like Imbordisux says, consider Kennywood along with CP for your two days.
  9. ^^^I completely agree with Dave and on top of top I enjoy Roar also. The only bad coaster is MindEraser.. As I credit whore myself I would recommend SFA, over the other parks since you have already been. As long as you know going in not to expect HP or KW atmosphere, more like SoulPark.
  10. You would also drive right past Dorney Park, although Kennywood and HersheyPark are better all around parks.
  11. ^because in America you sue everybody!
  12. she has an account on TPR, what does she need ACE for?
  13. sorry dude but that doesn't sound too good if your parents aren't big on vacations of any type
  14. How from is hometown from Wisconsin Dells? I'm not familiar with the distance from Yo Momma to Wisconsin Dells. This could be helpful in helping people provide advice. Do your parents just not want to go to an amusement park? Are there other activities they prefer?
  15. ^Rob, the guy in "Santa Clause" the Movie
  16. sorry Robb it doesn't mean anything to me as I never look at the home page and always jump right to the forums.
  17. ^^Heath - That's right, that's why the expression sounded familiar to me when Ben said it. See I love these "I should have known that" moments.
  18. I hate reading and keeping up to date on the spoilers and it ruins the excitement of the show. Oh, well. I like sitting there stunned after the fact that I could not figure out something on my own
  19. OK here is something a friend theorized (but I think he got it from a LOST message board). I wish I had thought of it, do not scroll down if you do not want to hear a potential spoiler: ************************************************************* The guy that the others have tied up (Locke's birth father) is the real Sawyer *************************************************************
