I don't follow your logic. If Kentucky Kingdom wanted to keep people in Louisville, they would open earlier and entice the people visiting the first two weeks to upgrade to season passes. They park shouldn't be trying to keep people away from Holiday World the weekend of April 25th, they should focus on keeping more people in Louisville throughout the season. The change in opening dates is attributable to either when operations can have everything running or a cost analysis showing that the low expected attendance the weekend of April 11th and 18th will not cover the operational costs. Parks lose money when there are not enough guests.

I'm not minimizing the value of the Kiddie Kingdom area for families with young children. However, it looks like crap and the rides can be moved with minimum difficulty to another part of the park. That was my thinking also, but I never really paid attention to the size of the building.

I don't think it was rough either. The reason I thought it was strange is because the back seat support was not contoured. Therefore my upper body was swaying side to side much more than normal on a steel coaster with a high seat back.

If might be helpful to know the last time is person rode each coaster to determine if the rattle is relatively new
