I probably would have done the same time, gone for the credit but made the most of if afterwards.

If it is open when you travel, don't forget Switchback going into ZDT Amusements in Seguin, Texas. Seguin is very close to San Antonio

They could have done this instead of adding a carnival attraction that will do little to attract guests. New paint on current rides would have been a much better use of whatever they paid for looping dragon. Can you please provide the cost analysis you have done to compare the number of new guests attracted by new paint versus and a new ride? Also, you may be out of the loop, the ride's name has been changed to El Diablo and it is not a carnival version of the ride it is a permanent installation.

I love when parks do things like this. However, many of the old Dorney fan base spew venom at Cedar Fair remember they are reminded at all that has changed at Dorney.

I don't recall seeing anything like this before, would this style observation ride be the first of it's kind.

I don't recall any other coaster opening 6 weeks after being announced. Sounds like a World Record for Busch Gardens.

If Herschend really wants the park they will make an appropriate offer or wait until CNL realizes they get a better offer. Herschend is not going to buy more then they want and CNL is eventually going to need the money.

You can not possibly know unless you have been. I'm a pessimist and wanted to hate DisneySea since I'm not a Disney park fan to begin with. I don't even need good theming to enjoy a park. However, I was completely impressed with TDS. Journey, Indy and ToT are just so well done and the customer service and clientele make for an awesome experience.

I would have a hard time traveling to Cleveland to begin with, but to travel there solely for a fair. Nope not going to happen.

Parks don't add big, record breaking rides because they "deserve" it. They add rides they see fit for the park that will bring in the most money. If Cedar Fair doesn't see Valleyfair as a good investment in 2016, then they won't get a coaster.There are other parks that are heavily rumored to get major investments next year- Cedar Point, Canada's Wonderland, Kings Dominion, even Michigan's Adventure. and to add to this, parks add attractions based on the money they are currently bringing in. One ride does not turn a park around.
