  1. www.post-gazette.com/pg/10024/1030113-37.stm Why don't people realize hight restrictions are put in place to protect people who are too small to fit properly in the restraints. Love the answer they gave her though.
  2. It won't hurt them to keep it, but it won't help them either. Its one of those 'well, its already there, lets see how it does' decisions. I just can't get on board with the people that want to save Starliner. I just don't see why it matters, really. Its time to move forward, not worry about preserving what didn't work for CG. I wouldn't say CG failer had anything to do with Starliner. The park as a whole was in a bad place as mentioned many times before. And if they do keep Starliner it would be cheaper to fix it up than it would be to bring in a new steel coaster.
  3. When we were out their last August we got the Gold Passes. Every coaster had a full Q but we managed to knock out the whole park in 4 hours with several re-rides on Toro. I think it is worth it.
  4. I think he is just old fashioned...
  5. ^^^ If they do keep Starliner (Which I doubt). I don't think it would hurt Legoland any. It would help draw an additional audience to the park. Also it would be nice to see both saved.
  6. Here is mine www.youtube.com/user/KenJones1990
  7. No Have you ever watched Mary Poppins?
  8. Im just gonna save myself the tounge twister and call it "Boob Blasters"
  9. Can you have an option where users can choose between the old format and the new format? Because I don't like the new style.
  10. I am sure they won't announce 2011 until after this summer passes.
  11. I dunno Robb with the kind of reputation Lego has I can see people going out of the way for the park. I mean I know of several other parks away from highways which have done very well (Knoebels, Indiana Beach) but of course we won't know for sure until they actually swing open the gates for the first guests. Anyway I really hope this project works out for Merlin because way to many parks are closing and it is a relief to see one saved.
  12. Well depends on what you are looking for in a book. (History, Coaster, Amusment Park, Trip Planning) But I personally enjoy the Images of America Books I have a pretty goo collection of the books and they are fun to read. But i suggest browsing EBay as you can find some interesting books on there.
  13. If anyone is interested someone captured some screen shots of the park from the movie The Road clpjunction.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=396
  14. HRP? try Wild West World ohhh.... so this could possibly be an epic fail? I'd say its very likely... Bet on a more serious note I hope this park (If built) does survive. We are losing more every year than than the number getting built. And this park even in its location is a shrine to Michael Jackson's legacy and that I respect it because of that.
  15. Yeah that isn't hard to do that at all. Would be nice if Six Flags does keep the Hand Brakes. Its a shame when parks get rid of them.
  16. From what Jeff said at NoCoaster apperantly after they lifted the turnpike out they would out that a tunnel that was on that spot was never took out so they had to do that before they could start construction.
  17. I don't know i mean if they look back at the safety records on the ride I don't think there has ever been a problem. Plus the fact it only has one train may help as well. IMO
  18. Hence the whole not sure if this is old or not speech
  19. Well Phantom is Kennywood's baby...
  20. Not sure if this has been pointed out or not yet but SFMM has added a little bit of info on the new family coaster to their website. www.sixflags.com/magicMountain/rides/FamilyRides.aspx
  21. I don't see why it could't be done. But will it ever happen? No
  22. I just got an update from a friend at NoCoaster and SFGam has confirmed that the Little Dipper will go into Bugs Bunny National Park and some rides will be moved around. They also said that the ride will continue to use the Hand Break. And they plan to open the ride sometime in June.
