  1. Yes it is is sometimes hard to determine Dust / rain from Orbs but with a careful eye you can spot the differences. Luckily I have had some training in telling them apart. Dust or Rain are always transparent and light almost always passes right through. Here is a few examples of dust. Just above the group is dust All the the spots in this photo are dust Now for rain because of how quickly rain falls when you take a picture with flash normally only a small bit of light is caught such as the photo below (The back two spots are rain but the bright one on top is not) Orbs are always solid and you normally cannot see through it such as the photo above on top of the photo. Also here is another orb in the top right of the photo But sometimes partial orbs like to show up and that is because the spirit is "weak" and has not collected alot of energy, here is a few examples. The one over the bricks and in the door on the left are partial orbs while the rest is just dust. Also the one on the left below is a partial orb Of course everyone has their own beliefs but that is why this kind of stuff is so interesting....
  2. I don't see how they are doing a second season without hidden cameras or going out of the country. Easy, Scripts
  3. Thanks for the report! My second hobby after coasters is Paranormal Research so this was great to read! I did see you caught a few orbs in some of your pictures and the picture where you says it absorbed your flash they say spirts do this to collect the energy before they manifest.... Looking forward to the day I make it out there.
  4. This last episode did seem very scripted.... While it is great to see CEOs do this I think it would have a better result with out the TV cameras following him/her....
  5. ^ Ok agreed Curious did HRP/FSMP have any upcharge attractions?
  6. Well true I guess they all won't be all gone but it is always good to help what we can.... ^ So can I assume Six Flags Over Georgia is one of those options???
  7. Well I would not like it to say I want to see it continue to suffer but I only agreed because some people (None of which on here) have been excited over several of the recent park closings. I really do belive the park may of had a chance as a pay per ride park. Because with the economy many people don't want to spend alot to visit a park when they have a free beach (Is that correct?) and a free admission park right next to each other just down the road. If this is truly the end I hope all of the rides can find new homes and the employees can find new jobs. Right now we need to support our parks before they are all gone....
  8. Six Flags Over Georgia has been doing this since they opened for the season I belive. When I was there saturday I was surprised how close they got to the Sky Coaster and Goliath even the staff was shocked.
  9. Yes thank you if you can give us the updates from the meeting that would be great! I was curious about what all would be covered at the meeting.
  10. No they are leaving everything that is left which is pretty much everything except Chang.....
  11. I don't think that is the case. The way I read it is that Six Flags will leave what is there aside from removing its "Inventory?" not sure if that just refers to Signs and Merchandise or rides they put in? Either way it sounds like SF will leave the park to where if someone wants to they can come in and get it open again with little work needed. My bet is though that the board may have said we will let you keep chang if SF agrees to leave everything else? Just my guess....
  12. So what could this mean for KK? www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=871916#p871916 Personally I am excited that a park was saved amongst so many other parks closing for good throughout this current off-season. But who would be interested in taking over? Seems like every park company is in some kind of trouble right now or already just made a large acquisition.
  13. Well from what I hear on how the Audio is working, its no surprise there
  14. Well I was thinking if it triggers the audio to start when the train dispatches. All well...
  15. Wouldn't it make more sense for one continuous track?
  16. I really don't think it is being overhyped I think they are doing things just right with the marketing. And they don't say it is a new theme park but people just seem to be reading it off as such. Personally I am excited for this. I enjoy the series (Books and Movies) and am looking forward to seeing how they bring out the Harry Potter experience in the new area.
  17. Like having a massive camera and lighting crew following him around won't give him away. The teaser is on Youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhSECPw3py4 Seems like they added quite a bit of drama, but there's some good shots of SDC! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhSECPw3py4 Looks like it will be a pretty good episode and hopefully he will do some work in Ride Operations.
  18. Anything else you need to know check out Point Buzz they are happy to help you with any questions about working at CP. BTW see you there I am working Ripcord
  19. Here is the Announcement... http://undercoverbossmba.com/ceos-undercover-boss-cbs BTW this is Joel for those unfimilar
  20. CBS has announced that Joel Manby CEO of Herschend Family Group will be featured on Undercover Boss on March 28th. Figured I would share that with you all.
  21. So I was browsing around and came across some photos someone put up of Chippewa Lake Park before the final demolion took place on the remaining rides. I figured you guys would like to see them. The rest of the photos can be found here sbno.illicitohio.com/chippewa/demolition1.html
  22. That's what it's all about! People from all over the world are discussing this ride miles and miles away from where they live, while a 'mediocre' ride in any other park would barely get any attention at all. They want people to try it out, and are probably convinced that their product is strong enough to convince people to go a second time as well. So I think they're doing it well. Personally I think it's starting to get a bit ridiculous too, but hell, I'd love to book a flight to Manchester and visit Alton, and I probably will do so. Yes but I think they are setting everyone standards too high. And by doing this can potentially hurt them in two ways. 1. People read all this and arrive at Altons for this "Amazing" thrill ride only to be let down or 2. This marketing will scare people off (Like what I have been reading in some of the comments on youtube) But yes you will have the folks who love the ride and I really hope this works out for Alton Towers.
  23. Ok this is just pushing it....
