LOL I missed that thread somehow. I didn't post a whole lot back then. SNAKES UNDER SUPERMAN!!! That's the title for the sequel to SNAKES ON A PLANE. And they are going to theme a coaster around it at Carowinds.

I feel sorry for someone that clicks on this thread thinking that something is going on at Carowinds besides rumors. lol

I've heard (but don't know if it's true) that if you volunteer for jury duty, then after you serve you never have to again. That's hearsay, so I say I don't know if it's true or not. I've been called twice and both times never made it to a trial. Well I did get in a pool one time, but got booted because I knew a cop and the trial was someone suing the Charlotte police dept.

I'm so jealous. All we have is cable to watch in Charlotte for jury duty. Nice report. I can't believe how hot it's been out there and in the midwest. It's weird when the deep south is cooler than CA.

I agree. If someone sues Mcdonald's because they are too stupid not to keep from spilling their hot coffee then that is "sue happy". But when the park makes a mistake and it injures someone, then that person has every right to sue the park.

Ok that makes more sense, I didn't see anything about the WWF area. Hopefully we'll get an announcement soon if it is indeed a new coaster. To me it sounds like a straight shot out and back, so I'd think more of a rocket coaster.

Hmmm... these flags are no where near White Water Falls. How do you figure that into this? Plus the park just did a bunch of work on the ride last year, I can't see them dumping it already.

The thing that I find interesting is that if this is a coaster, are they going to cut through the structure of TR (a la Phantom's revenge)?? If so, then get ready for a Parking lot coaster I guess. TR is one of course. lol It doesn't look like the footprint they would use for flight of fear, so it sounds like it will be something else (if it is a coaster). I doubt it will be a hyper, but who knows. To me those look more like gas markers or something, I've only seen one supposed footer marking pic somewhere on the net. I'd think there would be more if a coaster was coming.

Now I'm jealous. Carowinds just paved over more pavement for our racetrack, PKD is awesome and cut down some trees! Go Green!!! Nice report. I'm glad that the volcano god likes me and never has made me give up bodily fluids. Unless you count that one time...

While flipping channels I ran across G4 and what would they be showing....COMIC CON! Attack of the show visited Comic Con...hmmm.. I didnt' see Robb there though. They are going to show it again sometime this week. It looked really awesome. I couldn't believe how many people own their own costumes and such. At the Charlotte one no one dresses up. lol

^ I was thinking yesterday that the place reminded me so much of Radiator Springs in the movie Cars. Maybe we should send Owen Wilson down there. lol You might be one of the only people to actually get that credit. lol It would be neat if Hard Rock bought the coaster, but how many Latino rock stars are there. I guess they could always change the trains.

In closing this really is the worst park I think I've ever been to. The whole South of the Border experience is just rediculous. The only positive thing I can say is that they had the air conditioning working overtime in all the buildings I went in. Which was nice since it was 95 degrees outside! Pedroland Park probably isn't the worst park out there (and that's the scary part). They have only 7 rides I think (not 10 like the sign said) and only 3 or 4 seems to be in working condition. But half of those I didn't actually see work!!! From what I've heard the original owner passed away about 4 years ago and his daughter took over and she really doesn't give a crap about the place. Sad very sad. I doubt we'll ever see anything positive happen to the little park. Too bad, it could be a nice stop off for traverlers on their way to or from the Carolinas. That's all for now.
