  1. Grrr. Not every word with an 's' at the end needs a ' after or in it. I mean.... their's ? Come on people. And plural words do not need one, either. Dogs, cats, birds....horse's? No, no, no. Unless it's a possessive word. Like the horse's saddle. Etc. And then there's the Group Possessive... "The neighborhood cats' group meal, went great." Simple grammar. Practice, practice. Rant over.
  2. Just several months to go - then.... TPR Scandi Tour, WOO HOO!
  3. Malt Vinegar and Sea Salt potatoe chips/crisps. My favourite brand of the bunch.
  4. ^ They could always enlarge the show building, yes? At the back of it? Front facade would stay the same, or with new themeing for FROZEN, of course. And Elsa's transformation is a drag queen's wet dream. (That dress, those legs, those heels, that song!) I think it's worth a try to covert Maelstrom into something like this. We could be in a sleigh, pulled by Sven, LOL.
  5. ^ Mais oui Robert.... (But that didn't start till.....2006 with TPR!) I must admit, everything that I put out and display and/or use in the house, you never feel like it's a lot of clutter, etc. Or being 'surrounded' by everything. I do good houseworkl!
  6. Raging Spirits in Tokyo Disney Sea was a Total Shock! It was literally smooth as glass, the whole cycle. If they can do it with Indy in Paris, great! Even my partner David, who got totalled by Indy in Paris, loved the Japan version!
  7. BUMP to add, here's the photo of all the stuff I picked up at Dungeon. But that MUG was centre of it all, no question about it, lol. The Amsterdam Dungeon Haul.
  8. I couldn't believe how much I could feel myself totally tensing up on this ride, when the cars faced backwards. From my shoulders to my neck muscles, it was crappy. And the when things happened, (turns, dips, the loop) I felt like I was having to tense even more. And got neck strain. And shoulder aches. And when they got it facing forward again, it didn't make much difference by that time. Still rough. And this is from visits in 2002 - 2004 - 2007 and 2008.
  9. ^ NO! Never again! Backwards is EVIL!
  10. Really, really nice today. Clear skies. Sunny. No snow. A bit of rain early in morning. 5'C-40'F Just took this at 3 pm PST from our front porch. Not much snow, hmm?
  11. ^ ZED was awesome. The theatre was awesome! In house effects were incredible. The cast and musicians were amazing. I know this isn't helping you, but it really was an incredible Cirque experience.
  12. I'll have the Coaster-In-A-Dungeon, please? This was one of the "Dungeons of..." franchise, mainly in the UK, but also in Germany too. And this one opened in Amsterdam in 2005, with a bit of a difference... The "Dungeons" have at least three common things in them: Live actors; a Mirror maze; and some kind of "attraction" that was made and themed unique to the particular Dungeon. Most were some kind of boat ride, and lately, enclosed drop towers have been installed, as well. But Amsterdam has The Best of Them (IMhO), and is the only "Dungeon" that has a MACK E-motion coaster inside, where a church used to be! Reaper: Drop Ride to Doom So I got the on-ride pix; I had the pre-tour pic taken; I bought the t-shirt and souvenir guide; and I bought The Mug. Here's the mug, with a few pix of the building of the coaster in the former church (2005). And a few on/off ride photos. I visited it one month after it first opened, then re-visited it with my partner David, in 2007. Here it is. Your basic blood red on black colour scheme. And OMG - it's Made In..... ENGLAND! A look at the building of the coaster in Amsterdam Dungeon (summer 2005). (Thanks to Whoosh Magazine for the photos.) Organ shot. (o; This is sort of the main loading/exit station with the track running around it, and an elevator lift used. Quite a lot packed into such a small space. And the drop track in behind all this. Me on the Amsterdam Dungeon's "Drop of Doom" - Oct.31, 2005. My pre-show photo. Lovely. Me and David enjoying ourselves. April, 2007.
  13. Nope. Do you take public transit to work?
  14. Minions are not cute. Minions are AWESOME! (And sort of cute...yeah, there's that.)
  15. That's okay ^ I liked it, and hadn't seen it around for awhile. Easy to change. And will do, now. Sorry 'bout that.
  16. Well, I suppose there are a few around the world, who "have enough"... for now.
  17. I'm going to answer this, ONLY because the first part of your Screename is almost my last name - all of it. And the answer is: Any park deserves a new coaster. including KD.
  18. My own wooden Coaster, at Playland (PNE). Not that there's anything wrong about that....
  19. Brrrr - I shivvered just looking at these pix, lol. Thththanksssss for shshshshariiiiiiing.
  20. I swear that if the tip of that mountain was curled a bit, we'd be in WhoVille, LOL! Great update on how it's all going! And the Whale-Shark-What-Ever-Blue Thing looks awesome! Do I see something green-ish on the edg-ish of The Mountain? ( I am no good at chatting Seuss.)
  21. ^Knowing me, I would sit and wait it out, until it was practically empty, then be one of The Last People in the Park, lol. I would of course, be in a hotel on site, so no big deal.
  22. Of the Harry P. add-on, I think I am more excited about the new little coaster, rather than The New omg Attraction that's coming soon.
  23. Woo hoo! Actually I've seen it too So - does that make 13 of us now?
  24. 35 Years - in 2012 I picked up this one during the TPR China Tour in September, 2012. And I had no idea that Ocean Park had been around that many years! A very nice mug, with a couple of great park photos on it, too. Happy (post) 35th, Ocean Park! The "important stuff" on one side of the coffee mug. Photo of Ocean Square. What you first come into, when you enter Ocean Park, Hong Kong. The cable cars. Used to be The Only Way to get up the mountain to the other part of the park. Now they have a "train" that goes up and through the mountain! If this one wasn't Made In China, I was going to be very shocked. But (am pretty sure) it was - Microwave and Dishwasher safe, too!
  25. I did two TPR tours last year. New to Mexico, and then Back to Japan. So that's where my 3 of The Year, came from: 3) Ultra Twister - Rusutsu Park, Japan The two element changes (lift loading and the mini-Manhattan Express) made this version of the UT all the more enjoyable. And it was FAST! Faster than the original design UTs. Others agreed with me. 2) Tornado - Selva Magika, Mexico We used to have one of these Schwarzkopf coasters at my home park, Playland (PNE). And I LOVED it! Couldn't ride it enough. Then, several years later they took it out . And I never saw it or rode one, again. This one was kept in really great shape, and although the end 'lap' was a bit long in timing, the (still) no-seat belt, OTSRs or anything but just hold on, made it even better. Timeless. Still a classic. 1) Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull - Tokyo Disney Sea, Japan It still is the awesome original in an all-immersive attraction experience (Disneyland), and Japan ups the ante with a few changes here and there, but all to the benefit of the 'explorers' we are. Many (including myself) absolutely love Journey to the Center of The Earth, in the same park. But Indy set the bar and it still thrills to this day. For several trips, lol. My #3 - Ultra Twister - with a couple of ch-ch-changes - Rusutsu Park, Sapporo Japan #2 - Tornado - Selva Magika, Mexico. and my #1 - Indiana Jones & The Crystal Skull - Tokyo Disney Sea, Japan - BEFORE that movie ever came out!
