  1. Food was definitely not Drayton's strength, although they were probably a bit better than Lightwater Valley in that regard. Shudders at memories of both visits to LV. Food didn't change one bit. Ugh.
  2. The loading station and the pat down which led to the eventual lockers to put everything, from loose change, to a rubber band, true! That was memorable, without even riding the coaster, lol.
  3. As of right now. That's a lot of threes!
  4. If given the choice, I would drink Dr.Pepper over Coke, any old day. I just like it better than Coke.
  5. ^^^ Honestly, when I read your post I thought, "That's it. He's the winner of The Longest Time for A Package..." (It used to be from the US to Canada was pretty long, but now you have definitely won the crown, lol!)
  6. I think I have 2015's tours, figured out!
  7. One that I remember is the flume ride at Heide Park. (2008 TPR Europe Tour) It was one of those like Larry just explained ^ where it wasn't getting wet on the major drop that got you, but the parallel trough that got hit with the splashdown on the major drop. And that was before the major drop! So some times, you'd accidently get drenched already, lol.
  8. Woo hoo! The new season of VIKINGS started last night on HBO.
  9. Cheese is awesome!
  10. (And I rode it four times, back then!)
  11. Broken Teeth - Sam Roberts Band
  12. However the final design of the ride train, it's going to be awesome. And I'm sure the Imagineers' Black Light creations have come waaay beyond what's remembered from the original 2D at DL in Fantasy Land. Can't wait!
  13. I thought the helix looked quite fast and smooth. At my age and current health, even the slightest blur in the video makes me feel it won't go well for me, LOL.
  14. ^ No it wasn't your pix or anybody's in particular, really. Sorry if I led you to think that. I was looking at another set of photos, and it just hit me.
  15. Okay, I really don't want to put it here, but it's the best spot, I suppose, so... Lately, I have been seeing trip reports in this site, featuring photos that are honestly (to me) Too Dark to even make out group shots, scenery, etc. And I don't feel like continually copying and lightening the photo myself, when it should be done by the person posting the trip report. People! Use your computer and check those photos you are posting! I have done it for a couple of years now, and have even gone back to previous trip reports I posted, and "cleaned up" a few of the pix in those threads, here and there.
  16. ^ Concept art of the TRON Coaster? All I have 'seen' is the proposed layout of the circuit that the coaster takes. (It's posted back around the middle of this thread.) So - you have seen concept art of the coaster train, itself? Awesome if you have - and can you share, here?
  17. Happy Friday Morning! (for some of us, still)
  18. It looked/sounded like everything BUT the loops were rough, there. And sea lion brakes.... good call.
  19. MMmm June can't get here, soon enough!
  20. I believe that when the attraction first opened, the flashlights had on/off buttons on them, to push the light on, etc. But when the gp were having problems with operating the things, the company just decided to eliminate the button, and the flashlight would be "on" during the whole ride. So all you had to do was just point the thing at the blue construction helmets. And stuff happened. By the way, we were in the last car, and had no problems whatsoever, aiming and "hitting" various targets on the ride. To us this was no different than Buzz Lightyear, where you had other cars' riders "cross shooting" into target areas you were shooting at. For myself, this is just another variation of Aquatopia. It's just for family fun, no contest involved, and it tests a new (then) version of tracked vehicle, that could be used in a future attraction. (And if you were a kid handling that flashlight, this would be all very cool to you, I'd suspect.)
  21. ^^ So this means, we will have to bring care packs of Cokes, when the 2016 China Tour heads towards/into Shanghai, yes Elissa?
  22. At least they're starting to act fast on this crap that's trying to be passed, real fast. Good for Arizona!
  23. "Me And Liza" Rufus Wainwright
