Perfect, Chuck. I think we should petition the park to change the name to this one. They might go for it, lol. That park was so overly spread out, even the map didn't make that much sense to it. It took a lot of us forever to find that Wacky Worm, "in the woods over there somewhere..." I remember being told. And the food. Well, enough said about that. Toad Hole was undeniably The Wierd One of the park, which included Rat Ride coaster. The entrance "hole" was questionable. It was a long, snaky, slightly smelly enclosed queue - and then, when we were in the boat, everything still felt cramped, around us. Cheesy pre-show I seem to remember, then WHAM! Shot out of that "hill", shooting downhill - towards - That Water. A very wierd ride. Sorry it's gone. Another unlucky group gets spewed out of Toad Hole. Hurtling towards certain, toxic, death.

There was a patent Disney applied for, and got (I assume?), and it looks vaguely what a "new version" of POTC could run like. A patent for a "possible" POTC continuous (OMNImover) ride system....maybe? We'll find out, late next year.

Personally, I would rather go back to the original Tycoon, and add the new coasters (and everything else) in that style of rendering, etc. Love Live The Original!

Unfortunately, I had to make a choice between the Wierd Parks of Japan Tour, just about to start up (Have Fun Guys!) and the Scandinavian Tour (in June) for this year's tour. It's been five years since the first Scandi tour, so I always wanted to return and visit/ride their parks & coasters again. So, Scandi won over Japan. This time. Still, this report isn't helping me out with how I decided, lol. And I do want to go back to Japan, at least a couple more times.

^ Very cool to see, Larry. Thanks for sharing it. How are things going with the Haunted Fun House? It looked great in the winter photos I have seen, lighting and all.

I noticed on both maps, there's only way way to go, to get to SWARM. Is that true? Why don't they put a path-bridge at the top of the 'island there'? I would think traffic could/would flow better, even if from both directions. Actually , this reminds me of the entrance and exit of ToonTown in DL. Which can still be a mess, with strollers and crowds funneling thru the "tunnel".
