Definitely one of my favourite parks of any tour I've taken.
And so sad to read about Kalinda. I saw them together in the
2010 UK/Europe Tour. Hope they find a mate for Ashok, soon.
Loved seeing the evolution of how Vampire came to be. Before trees, LOL!
And yes I agree with you about the powered coaster. There was so much to
"almost" kill you on how close all the trees and stuff used to be, before the
cleanup.
But true - FIRE does fix everything! Great report, Craig!
Well, if that kind of tour could be happening in 2016, I would love to do it.
But - I got myself all primed, ready and waiting for another China tour that year
(if TPR is still planning one), so sadly, I wouldn't be able to do this one.
But the coaster looks great, the layout POV is amazing, and I hope everybody
enjoys it, when they finally get to ride Wildfire.
We've been watching this one season of Master Chef Canada, and its fascinating to watch how fast these
chefs pull together really amazing cuisine, in (usually) under two hours..... or less. And some of the results look
sooooo good. And taste excellent, from the mouths of the judges, on some.
I "almost" saw Rooney live on Broadway, with Ann Miller (Ann Miller!) in a vaudeville-like production
called Sugar Babies, 1979. They were in previews, and I could have got a ticket for half-price, but didn't go. Visited friends in DC during it's Opening. Came back to New York. Big Massive Hit! Couldn't get a ticket now if my life depended on it, lol. So - I missed them together....
Till a few years later, and they they actually starred in the first National Tour that also included Vancouver! Great fun show and Rooney wasn't as nearly over the top as I thought he'd be. And Ann was..... Ann.
RIP - MR
It was a great show!
I thought Joyland was amazing, with how many rides they fit into that structure.
Great setup with the coaster, the dark ride, the cars...and those snails. And yes, I posed for that "book cover" there.
Well, this is a Shameless TR, right? (o;
