Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

Didn't that Worlds Fair have the same type of parachute tower as Knotts? Yes it did. Called the Space Drop, and in The Yellow Zone of the fair. Found a pic. Sorry for the sidebar, guys. Here it is, at the top of the tower, 1986. I loved it, especially the flying saucer covers above the buckets, lol. -

^ I mean, (not so) seriously, that Mountie ornament bears a striking "brotherly" resemblance to... Sort of reminds me of your ornament.... (o; (Leaving Balder love, TPR Scandi Tour 2014) -

Just gave myself the 2015 Season Pass, online! Now I am set for next Spring. And as I figured (Dec.29 now), the offer has now been extended a couple of weeks, expiring on January 19th. -

^ ha ha love the Mountie ornament, Phil! Looks kinda Dudley Do Right-like. Beautiful wooden ornament in the second photo, too. Is that one from a park, as well as the others? Merry Mary to you Phil, and your close family and friends. -
And for The Season, a really great sounding Broadway Holiday Musical Original Cast CD... It was a great production, I heard.

"Does the Canadian flag come in other colors? Besides red?" I did tickets at our city's Worlds Fair in 1986. Uh.... yeah. -
^ They just played it again on my radio station. Still honestly, the one with hair raising power. And McCartney loved it too, apparently.

I wish Playland here in Vancouver would go all Steampunk and Euro-industrial design, in the redo of the park in the up coming decade or so. Like this coaster is heading. Looks great. Hope it fulfills steampunque dreams. -

Maybe it looks better with a view of Mt.Fuji in the background. Or not. -
I decided to BUMP this up, as I have a couple of photos with our holiday lights up, but as well, our friends across the street who do an amaaazing amount of setting up what they got - and it just - looks - off for me. See for yourself... p.s. And maybe the title of this thread could omit the year, and just put Annual in it's place. This first shot is through our light setup, front of the porch, towards what we see of our friends' set up. I really think it needs something pull it all together... But what? Still, an interesting setup, Ho Ho Ho. (o;

Time for another share of how you decorate the holiday tree.....or not. Ours went very "minimalist" with the ornaments, being only the 3 TPR baubles we now have (red.blue, purple!) and a few personal ornaments, that had either pix of us in them, or our names on them. Or both! Picked up a brand new set of blinker lights (8 cycles!) to replace our old (but still hanging on) set. And tinsel. Always lots - of - tinsel. No excuse. It covers all crap. Truth. With a bit of outside light. And I think I see a TPR ornament, on the left there! More space underneath the tree, means Bigger presents! (o:

^ Ah okay, thanks, I've actually never seen The Polar Express in it's entirety. So I have no knowledge of that sequence. Good to know. -
"Cadillac Car" DREAMGIRLS - The Concert September 21, 2001. They decided to do the concert (after 9/11) and bring musical theatre joy to everybody who came that night. And it rawked, from what I heard. And I saw the original show On Broadway, Dec.1982.
